Default Did paypal remove the EIN requirement?

Two of my stealth accounts got limited at the same time after not submitting the info they wanted for taxes. After scrambling for info on how to get them up again, I decided it may take a while so I was going to refund a few buyers that I couldnt send items to becuase of the restrictions... So I loged in again today and surprisingly paypay was working fine again on both accounts with no restrictions. Even the "We need your tax I.D. number" is gone from the header in paypal... Now im not complaining, but did they decide to do away with the tax info requirement? Has this happened to anyone else?

They have been hit very hard by the IRS and did not expect all of this coming.

Remember the clout the IRS has over pp and if pp screws it up they will be watched like a hawk by IRS.

PP simply was not ready for this and has some glitches.

Be prepared for it to show back up again. Or you might be one of the lucky ones.

Spread sales out over many accounts for now on.

The IRS is the only thing that could stop this, not PayPal.

Be thankful for the temporary reprieve and get your stuff in order. Because it IS TEMPORARY.

Unless the IRS decides not to be so greedy. Of course, here is a small list of several things that are more likely to happen first....
  • eBay embraces small sellers and tells big corporations to go to hell.
  • Disney announces they will no longer make kids movies to focus on XXX Adult entertainment.
  • The Republican Party endorses Barak Obama in 2012 and embraces gay marriage.
  • Queen Elizabeth announces that it is now OK for members of the royal family ro appear in the new XXX Disney Adult films.

Ok, I guess I will consider myself lucky for now and take it as a wake up call. But I will be prepareing myself for a melt down...

But let me ask this without you guys holding back. Is this the end of stealth accounts?

And If so I have another question to add. Can I open more then one ebay/paypal account under my personal name? I sell diffrent items for two diffrent companys that I own and the easiest way to seperate the profits is to have two accounts... My personal account has some glitches but is still fully operational. I have learned a lot about what I can and cant get away with since then and if I have to go legit i'm pretty sure I can make them work for what I sell.
