Default claim of debt

Well, I had a stealth account that got blocked by paypal and then I stopped using it. Few weeks ago I received a letter (debt collection) saying that I owe paypal USD 4k

They are out of their mind... I dunno how I got to have such negative balance. Never had any complaint in my services at all.

They want me to pay almost five thousand US dollars and not explain why I owe so much nor give any garantee that my account will be unblocked....

If it was a stealth account how did they manage to send you a debt collection letter?

I live outside US but I have a mail-forward service which gives me a US-based address. I had used this address when I opened the above mentioned Ppal account.

I can close the mail-forward service anytime I want.

Yes, stealth name.

I personally donīt think they could harm me even if I used my true name on that mail-forward service.

Thing is with this after reading round this forum lots is that.. if you have an bank account attached THEY WILL if they really wanted be able to find out your real name!

This is my arguement.. if you owe fees like they say then I would pay them. Just because you have a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, you still have a real bank account attached and the authorities have the right to find out the account holders name..

Going bankrupt/having a debt is not a crime. Happens every day, nothing to worry.

Tho in some countries when you owe a debt, they sent the "real" debt collectors after you. :D

Yes... In some countries you can still be put in jail for not paying your debts.

That will most likely happen in the US in a few years... Wages in China and India will escalate to the point where our corporations need cheaper labor. So, they will enslave the US population to produce goods to sell overseas.

Then again, maybe that is not so far fetched...

WE'RE DOOMED!!!
