Thanks for all the tips & advice above.

Other thing I dont get is, there is 2 other people that are clearly are selling phakes, he has over 500 feedback of this product and they're not investigating that seller?! I mean 500 fb, can you imagine how many he has sold if its a 1 in 3 fb ratio!?

Just doesnt seem right for myself having only sold 100+ that they try me and not that person.. I know doesnt pull the spotlight away from me but just thinking out loud

Is the email address used from the official website? Or a slight variation? Might be your competitor going to extreme lengths.

For the most part you're safe with stealth and I'm not sure if all hell would break loose as other members state. Those who get caught its usually through stupid errors... e.g had you accepted the return. I highly doubt anything would come of this.

NoneOther 04-26-2012 02:38 PM

The address the item was sent to was the company's registered office.

Hardly a competitor going to extreme lengths.

It is wrong to say that you are safe with stealth as you are not. You are only safe in as much it hides your identity from e/b & p/p, not from any one who has real authority to look beyond the surface information.

NoneOther is right The Genius as he has said before its very easy to find peoples info nowadays considering you can put a phone number into google and get the location of anyone, anywhere anytime. Anything and everything is possible in this day and age!

Good luck with it. Keep your head down.

I thought this thread was closed a few days ago.
May I ask the OP? How long has the buyer's account opened and how many feedback does he have?
If it's a pretty new account, I think that your competitor going to extreme lengths is possible. Anyone can add any shipping address, so he also can make the company's registered office as his shipping address.
Also, are there so many sellers selling the same items as yours or only a few?
If there are only a few, the competitor can do the same thing with other sellers to drop one by one so that he will be the only seller.

Another thought in mind.
Once I sold a V item. The buyer told me that she really lovesssssss the item because she is working in that item's company so she knows how great the item is.
Applying this in your case. Perhaps, that buyer is working for that company and likes and really wants to buy your item for real !?!?

A competitor using not only the company's registered office for delivery but also the registered domain name for email, really?

That would be one very smart competitor.

I don't think so.

I forgot that the email is also the registered domain name :D.
I would like to have one question about selling Vero.
Many times you guys mention about taking your own pictures, making your own words, and providing receipts when asked so that you are able to sell vero.
Is that accepted by Ebay only?

NoneOther 04-26-2012 05:25 PM

It may be depending on circumstances but if the rights owners asks them to remove an listing they will regardless of what proof you can provide that you own it and it is genuine.

Sneakee 04-26-2012 07:07 PM

Any more updates after the refund?

GreenBean 04-26-2012 08:12 PM

Give it time to happen or go watch Cable.

Not 3 days since the action of refund.

Callidus 04-27-2012 12:49 AM

No updates as of yet, declined the return request and refunded immediately.

Also sent a message saying dont worry about returning the item.

Thats why I asked if it was an official domain. Sounds like a plausable way to scare competition to me.

While possible to spoof an e-mail, it's less likely than someone with actual company.

GTB 04-27-2012 09:24 AM

maybe someone just wanted a bargain:noidea:

times are hard right now

This tread is getting a Little out of hand,,,NO ONE here has the right to Judge the Morality of another user here on this Forum,,,

It is against the law to sell ANY Counterfeit Product,,,,This is FACT!!!!,,,

There are People BOTH Buyers and Sellers who feel that certain corporations GROSSLY overcharge for their products,,,and KNOWINGLY,,sell AND Purchase them,,these People feel that it is the Corporations that break the laws,,of MORALITY that is,,,but again it is NOT our right to Judge them either,,,, that is why Counterfeits Exist,,,

and of course there are Lowlives and Shysters who will try to rip buyers off at EVERY Turn,,,There is a BIG Difference selling a Copied DVD for $10.00 and a Copied Mikey Mantle rookie card for $20,0000 (a Bargain)

Users of This Forum should NOT Encourage the Sale of ANY Counterfeit item,,EVER,,,Nor should its users Pass Judgement on anyone who does,,,,There exists a WIDE Variety of levels of Morality on this issue,,,,it is NOT so Black and White,,,This is the Beauty of the USA,,we all KNOW the Rules,,and we all have a CHOICE as to follow them or not,,,
