Default Paypals Limited havent gotten email releasing funds

i am not sure exactly were to put this thread i searched the forum but couldnt get an exact answer to my question.

a couple of my paypals got limited i already know what i did wrong. One said it will be released in 180 days the other one 45.

Now there are a couple other that have been limited but i have not received an email stating when they will be releasing the funds. The email starts off with your account is limited until we hear from you.

i dont see a point in calling them i already know what they want me to send to them which is a waste of time because they have connected all of them so it wont matter if i send in docs they wont restore the account.. Since i havent gotten an email saying when they will release my funds what can i do? Will it be released in the usual 180 days?

This is what I wonder as well. My most recently limited account does not have a "released in X days" indication, so I am simply hoping my money gets released in 180 days.

This seems like a change in tact from PP to give them more leverage & control over your held funds.

My eBay account got suspended due to repeated MC019 violations. Due to past experience (where your Paypal becomes suspended within the 24-48 hours following your suspension), I panicked and transfereed all funds to an alternative PayPal account. The original account went down as expected, and so did the backup account, although the former got a 180 day suspension and the later a 45.

45 days passed and nothing happens, so I emailed their executive office and in a few hours I got an automated email informing me that my funds were eligible for withdrawal. But shortly after this, I get a reply to my email telling me that hey are still reviewing my account, and that I would get an update soon. I did indeed get an update, but it was to inform me that they had decided to close the account and keep the money for a further 180 days.

Did you respond to the limitation notice?

Did you say nope I aint doing anything or have you just left the account in limbo?

Paypal is now very strict with held money. They will verify ID for every account.

I got some of mine doesn't even reach $1000 (australia law anti money) and they still ask for ID before releasing the funds

I am waiting on GreenBean's answer to the above.

I have learned not to trust regular forum users' speculations on these things.

It's okay, just let Paypal take care of your money forever

After all, they are a "pay pal"

Please do not make such a sweeping statement.

It simply is not accurate. paypal may not release funds under certain conditions.

It depends on the type of limitation and paypal's perception of the account.

paypal will refuse to release funds.

As I type appeals are happening with some users to obtain funds

because paypal declined to release them after the 180 days

This relates to paypal in four different countries including the USA

So this brings me back to the original question.

If your limitation email does not explicitly state you can withdraw your funds in 180 days, does that mean we are not guaranteed to have our funds in 180 days?
