Minimum of 30 on mine.

Prefer 'dressings' on the account(s)

Solid advice. I also agree with greenbeam. The more history on eBay buying items and time before registering as a seller the better. eBay is hyper sensitive now. It is like taking someone out on a date, you have to go through all the I am not an ax murder blah blah to get a reputation and build trust with them before things can begin to get serious. To be honest every account is a relationship with eBay like it or not. The more feedback you get and the better DSR's, higher sales volume. All that plays into how eBay/PayPal treats your accounts. eBay is not a fly by one night stand anymore. Study the eBay Stealth if you haven't already. You have to do your work to get on and stay on.

I have 20 accounts and sell right away and each first listing gets taken down and than I call. They just want to talk to you ask if u have products in ur posession and want u to basically repeat back all ur stealth info and than they reinstate ur account, they say u have done nothing wrong they just do this with all new sellers. So relax they reinstated all 20 of my accounts just call within 48 hrs I think

Default MC999 Verify FIRST

i just want to share that i have had a little recent success calling and having ebay help me list my first item. this would seem to stop the mc999 for the first few items. anyone have the same experience?

no you never call them like that, don't let them know you exist, they can suspend you or limit you right away if they find something linked.
I wouldn't do that, because better they don't know for some days that your account is there. If you make a new ebay account then it will take time for them to see that you are selling some items there(before you have to wait 4-5 days) and then you can list.

creating way too many accounts won't help
they link you by the same products or "almost same prodcuts"
I myself stopped doing a lot of accounts and now haven't gotten suspended for a while. The key here is to create the low # of accounts in 1 week(like 1 or 2)

I started to call when I noticed every account was going down after that first listing , I figured maybe I could call and ask them to help me set up the listing acting like a new member so they would and ask all my info but a day or so later same thing everything down I'd have to call up and Verify, so I stopped calling before and now just wait until they take the listing down , I just did another call last night for my 21 account so don't worry , as long as u use stealth info they won't find a real question in there database and ur good to go

Please stop making an urban myth of it being a wise idea to call into ebay on a new account.

This is not sensible at all.

Ensure you read the forum and find out the repercussions of contacting ebay.

AVOID this dangerous practice

Browsing, watching, buying always helps a new account.

try this, activate your account as a seller account by listing your first item...end the item early, then buy a couple items to get some feedback...about a week or 2 later, try listing an item or 2 and see if this happens to you again! their auto system is designed to take down accounts that are new and try to list without feedback...it could be the ip's your using are somehow connected to some other account somewhere in the world which is why their system is attacking you...it happened to me...luckily for me, i still have my top rated stealth account...keeping my fingers crossed!

They say supply ID. The seller got sprung becasue of not being able to satisfy ebay's conditions to sell.

A verified phone number proves zilch.

You do know that ebay flags accounts that cancel listings?

Again, this is a risky method.

Ideally, sensibly, a new account should be used to avoid being flagged by ebay.

Not rocket science.

This happens on 1 out of like 20 accounts, call or they WILL close your account.
They are doing things like this with listings that have to little or very poor info. Ebay dont want "Average Joe" to list items anymore (they have had a fair share of scammers etc over the years so they want you to spend Some time listing items , just as quality buyers spend time sourcing and might ending up buying from you) , they want you to provide good information, it's an easy puzzle to solve, if you call Ebay they will ask you about your basic info (name, street, year born, phonenumber, why you sell) now you shouldnt have any problem with the account.

Ps: the things i wrote is for the threadstarter, i only qouted packattack cause the info is good for people to see (you can always call ebay, no need to live in the shadow just because youre stealth)

And as always, common sense is important to not rise any flags
I only recommend true stealth made with precision and valid info (address, phone, etc).

Did you not notice the OP has not been online since January this year, Univerzal?

Unless a user has a solidly created stealth account, there is a potential for issues.

Do not tell me your recommendation is for a user to call into ebay if they have done any of the following:

used a phake name and the address of a MacDonalds or made up some street from somewhere.

Is this what you are saying? If so that is nothing but trouble.

Thumbs up

Oops, i dont check user activity.

no i only recommend true stealth made with precision and valid info (address, phone, etc).

if anyone set McDonalds as their home address i would recommend asking for a 2$ hour work right there cause stealth need time and dedication, not a quarter pounder with large fries lol.

Thanks for the user-activity tips, will check that more

Spot on with this comment

''no i only recommend true stealth made with precision and valid info (address, phone, etc).''

I added it to your other post to clarify the advice.
