Activity: 0% Longevity: 64% | | Cheapest method for phone verify is FREE
Hello all,
This cheapest method to phone verify that I been using and still working.
This phone verify method is work for Amazon and eBay only. I don't know about other company but doesn't work with Craigslist.
This method using Google Voice and Text Free apps (I use iPhone)
1. Download and install the Text Free apps (pick the second one with talk)
2. Create new account using any information and email is OK, you don't need to verify it anyway.
3. Sign up for Gmail and Google Voice for your stealth account.
4. Provide your TextFree/Pinger phone number when sign up with Google Voice
5. Select the area code for your stealth account.
6. Verify your TextFree/Pinger number with your Google Voice
7. When done, go to Google Voice setting and uncheck the Google chat in Phone tab.
8. Turn off the Call Screening in the Call tab and save
9. Try to make call to your Google Voice number to test it.
Done, you don't need to buy anything, any cheap phone card, no monthly fee ever.
If you are run multiple stealth account you can use the Talk a Tone services for $1.99/month and it is support multiple Google Voice account.
The best thing is you will have all your Google Voice (Stealth) number attach to only one phone.
If anyone have any question just ask
Good luck people.

Quite often free and cheapest is not the same as best. How often are these numbers recycled? My concern is getting numbers that have been used by other stealth users.
I like the $10 tracfone personally. I buy them out of stock anytime I find them. Any stealth members here who live in my town will have a hard time finding them in any riteaid or CVS.
Stay away from vumber, they recycle numbers like crazy. True story: I had a stealth I made last year before I abandoned vumber. I had given up the vumber account last year and just left the phone number abandoned. So 2 weeks ago ebay tells me I need to have a working phone number and asked me to verify my number. I figured "well I signed up using a vumber number, I really don't care too much about this account so I'll get another free vumber number to verify the number(free because I would cancel during the trial period). Want to know what's funny? I signed up for the same area code and city that I originally signed up for, and it gave me the same number LOL! Great for me, but horrible for anyone else who ever tries using a vumber from any other city I've ever used. I think they probably only have 1 number per city.

The only number appear in your google voice number and it not expire or recycle if using one in a white. You don't care about the pinger/text free number. After you got your google voice number you don't need the pinger anymore. As long as google don't charge for a service we still using it free.
In google we trust
I'm not mention anything aboud Vumber

the only problem with this is that if ebay calls you are screwed, textfree releases your number after 7 days or so, if somebody calls the number it says something along the lines of "welcome to google voice, let me try to connect you to the person you are calling"

Never get any message like you said. You need to dig in to it, the information is in the setting. You can run 20, 30, 40 accounts using just 1 Cell phone (Android or iPhone)

If you go hard on stealth, might as well bunch a bunch of numbers for low price and keep them active

I prefer using a service like tossabledigits... Yes it costs money, however the options and customer service is outstanding

I would try to find something like vumber or tossable digits BUT WITH A SMALLER PROVIDER. These smaller providers can fly under the radar for a long time and their numbers don't recycle the way they do at the larger providers.
For that, you want to get off the first few pages of Google.
