Default Recent mc999 story of mine this morning

Havent received a mc999 in AGES so was intrigued - posting my experience.

US-based account, been buying since 2010-2011....about 100 feedback. Decided to list a personal item on Sunday - got hit with mc999 on Monday.

I call them today to deal with it - 545 am EST - pleasant agent. Asked me 4 questions - who is my supplier? I explained personal item - 1 time sale. do i have the item in my possession? yes - proved by my photos. who else uses my eb account? No one - just me. How do you plan to ship? By post - charged for tracking.

Thanked me for my time and reinstated account - chill session.

I think they do this so that the workers can have a job to do and not sit around all night/morning doing nothing!

Gosh lame questions they ask!

Good job!

You got some easy questions to answer but it worked so good for you.

What they are doing is hoping for someone to call and not be able to answer the info or call from a wrong phone number.

Default Here's my story

I had opened a eBay Stealth account. I let it sit for approximately a week. I then listed 2 items. 1 sold overnight. $50-$100. That day I listed 3 more items. The next morning I went to sign in and MC999 limited in Ebay. So I came to the forums this morning to acquire info on this subject. Got enough guts to call and find out why my account was limited. The girl on the phone asked for my name, I gave it to her (stealth name). She then asked me to hold on while she checks the account. She came back within 30-45 seconds and said "we just wanted to make sure you were creating the listings and not someone else that had got a hold of your account." I explained to her that I owned a company and that my intentions were to list various products on Ebay. She stated "we just needed you to call in and that I have reinstated your account." "Any listings that were removed will be in your unsold folder." Also when she came back on the line she said "all of your information has checked out" I told her thank you and have a nice day!

Stealth details:
1)similar name
2)private company po box address
3)real bank account
4)vanilla mastercard
5)trac phone tied to google voice
6)pp and ebay verified
7)new shared wifi ip
8)new user on desktop

I don't think this is a formula, but thought I would share my experience in hopes of helping others. Don't be intimidated to call to try and get the mc999 limitation lifted. I don't think it is that big of a deal.
