Dont sell right away then - build your account and sell after few weeks - learn to change up your methods

Update - I made a mistake. I thought both accounts had been suspended but it's only the second one I created. The first account is working fine. It looks like the mc124 has been lifted for the original account. I can buy and sell on it. I've received no correspondance from ebay, but it's working fine. I don't understand?!!

I'm now waiting for it to be suspended through being linked to the suspended second account. Does this make sense to anyone?

May well be they will let your 1st account stay.

This is what happened with mine as well. No email, no message - nothing. I logged into the account and the limitation warning had disappeared.

Could be that they assume you just forgot you made the first. Pretty sure people do this all the time. If was not in the game and bought off ebay once and forgot username and password I no doubt would just create another account. Average people do not think about all of this duplicate stuff and linking.

Yeah, definitely MC124. Was limited for 3 days, received the suspended notice after and then got reinstated.

They requested both but I only sent in the front. I went into live chat to ask what I could send in for proof of ownership for the 1 item I was selling. Was told that as I already sold the item, the eBay Sales Invoice would be accepted. I uploaded it while I was still in live chat and the rep checked every document before forwarding it for review. The rep never asked me to scan the back of the DL.

It took me a week to get reinstated as at first I provided what they required an hour after the 72 hour deadline. I then got the suspended noticed 2 days later, I went into live chat about it and was told that because I submitted the docs after the 72 hour window my account would remain suspended indefinitely!

I then went back to the upload docs page and resubmitted everything. Less than 24 hours I receive an email that my account has been reinstated!

Another Update! I listed 10 items yesterday on the original account. Today I received a MC999 saying that as my account is associated to the one they suspended the account has been restricted. I can begin selling again when the issues associated with the other account are resolved! They say they have emailed instructions on how to resolve these issues to the other account, but I've received nothing.

Going to message them and try and work out whats going on.

I knew something like this would happen. haha

Just spoke to live chat. They said there's nothing to worry about and I just need to request higher selling limits. I tried this and it took me through to paypal and a page could not be displayed message. I tried again and it said my selling allowances can not be increased at this time. The operator said there must be a technical hitch and to try again tomorrow. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

and now the conclusion. The account is indefinately restriced due to being linked to the other account. Why they unrestriced it in the first place I'll never know. I knew this would happen!

Typical for ebay one department doesnt know what other is doing. Expect plenty of emails from ebay about specials and programs going on.

I recently got a MC124 from ebay France (US account). I sent my US docs but still got suspended 72h after. Not sure they even looked at the docs.
