Default Selling diamonds on ebay

Hey guys. I found a supplier for diamonds and was wondering whats the best way to go about this.

I dont have any accounts now....would it be better to start a new one from scratch or to buy an aged account?

All the papers like invoices/authenticity certificate/etc I have and would be able to provide it to paypal if necessary.

Stud earrings would be the only thing I would be selling on the account. I don't want to get shut down because of "high risk" or anything else ebay/paypal complain about.

Any help?

You might not like the help from me.

What background in diamonds do you have?

What is your OWN knowledge of diamonds, of gold, of jewelry and the fact this is a HIGH risk category.

There are over 45,500 listings for diamond stud earrings at the moment on ebay.com

It is a magnet for scamming sellers but worse scammers of buyers.

What terms have you got from 'this supplier'? Is he known to you away from diamonds.
Are you able to be sure all of this will be kosher?

COA ( certificates of authenticity) are so easily forged. That piece of paper is no guarantee at all.
I do not want to say a lot more without giving you a chance to reply.
Feel free to pm me

Well I get them GIA appraised myself so I think they're legit. I've worked with the supplier a few times before but yeah I am new to the diamond game and still gaining knowledge on it

You gave him good advice but if he has the mindset...well...up to him to experiment. You know I dont really analyze people's business models like you do

A burden I have to bear with you.

Still my shoulders are broad enough. As long as learning happens all good.

I did diamonds before.

One out three says stones are not real when they get them, open dispute,. paypal tells them to return them, they send you a bag of dust or an empty envelope, not much you can do.

If I was doing diamonds again I would figure assuming eBay Stealth paypal all that handled, i would figure roughly 30 percent of what you buy you will lose and if you can still make money with them great.

A guy once told me he sold rolex watches . He would ship to a local courier via usps in the same zip with sig confirm . He would write a note that courier had customer sign when they got the watches delivered and inspected and accepted before courier would release the watch.
