Default no access to stealth address

hello

I have about 10+ stealth accounts running & selling. For the majority of them, I don't have access to the address.
Is that an issue for long term health of the stealth accounts?

I don't accept returns. I just take the loss and refund the buyer. Majority of stealth accounts are US based.

I am about to create another batch of 10-20 new stealth accounts. Should I invest in accessible addresses?

My goal is to reach 100 active accounts.

It's always recommended to have address you have access too, you never know what trick ebay can pull , who knows tomorrow they may announce they are mailing a code to all accounts and whoever doesn't add the right code may be limited.

But for now if your taking the loss and not worried about returns it will work but you never know what the future policy will be so get prepared and get addresses you have access to

I would invest in a few accounts that have a accessible address for larger ticket items that you would want to get returned.

Solid point by JamesNorth - consider post office boxes for few accounts - if not at least your large ticket sales accounts

Thanks.

I need to make 20 more accounts. For some of them, I will get a UPS address.

For the others, I don't need an accessible address: how do I pick bogus stealth address that won't raise flag with ebay/pp?

thx
J.

Apartment buildings and condo buildings are ideas to consider john456...provided you dont need to worry a lot about returns

Rsot suggestions are all good ones. Another option I use as well is just empty buildings

Do you use real apartment numbers or made up ones?

Bit late if you tried that and got an MC999....

Do you actually mean real apartment numbers OR made up ones?

Keep in mind, ebay/paypal use a database to check out accounts....

See the chances of failure there?

Here's an issue that does not appear to have been considered so far in this thread.

It would be most unwise of any user to 'just' take a random address for their own stealth purposes.

No permission to use that address is not what a stealth account is all about.

If explanation is needed, then I despair.

Gone are the days of 'borrowed' addresses.

Simple fact.

I fixed my question

I have gone the route of a made up apartment number. So far out of 2 accounts created like that, one got whacked. That could be the culprit.

I agree. One doesn't want to use someone else address for stealth without permission.

What are the good options then?

1. condo building but skipping the apartment number completely?
ex: 23 street road appt. 23 is the real address. Simply use '23 street road' for stealth?
2. abandoned building?
3. UPS address (that one works. I have a couple of account running like that)

Any better options?

1. You make up additional suites.
2. Yes abandoned building can work - again add locals, suites, departments...
3. You can vary the UPS address
