Default Limited for transaction

A client just tried to send us a pay for over 1k and our accoutn was limited and payment reversed.

We are trying to complete the steps they want us to deal with, so far...

Bank account is checked and completed

Proof of address has been submitted and pending.

Invoices - not sure what to do here as everything we do is online and technically paypal send the invoices. - i could make one up i guess for the client and send that to pp.

Business info - checked and complete

Proof of delivery - Again our business does not send physical goods so we can not send proof of delivery, also when we click on that there are no transactions anyway so it's kind of stuck.

What would be the best way to go about this as this account is obviously a stealth.

Also no cases are open and have had no previous cases disputes.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

How old is the account? And did you try to withdraw the £1000 right away?

The account is nearly two months old, and no i did not touch the payment, it came and then we had this email

Dear ,

---- paid for their item using PayPal. This payment is under review.

The Payment Review may take up to 24 hours. When we've completed the review, we'll either clear or cancel the payment. If the payment clears: You may proceed to process the order. To know if your item is covered, check the 'Seller Protection' section of the 'Transaction Details' page and ensure that it states 'Eligible'.

You shouldn't send the item until we let you know that the payment has cleared. We'll send you an email when the funds are released. Or you can:

Then shortly afterward

Dear ,

PayPal Payment Review helps you lower risk and reduce loss by alerting you to potentially problematic transactions.

We've completed our review of the transaction below and found the payment may not be authorised by the PayPal account holder or may be the result of suspicious activity. As a result, we’ve cancelled this transaction.

The payment came from a legit sale.

We have already taken a few high ticket sales previously with this account with no issue.

Any advice appreciated.

Seems to me to be much more to do with the buyers account than yours. Would get them to contact PP to see what the issue is.

You are going to have to provide the info that Paypal is asking, now your limited so do what you can to save the account, possibly try calling in , if your a good talker and you get a rep that is helpful, than maybe you can work to lift the limit

Okay...

Got this email this morning, have to give them the rest of this info for them.

We're sorry, but we cannot restore full access to your account until we
receive additional information.

Please provide a copy of each of the following: - Your monthly statement
for the credit card ending in XXXX. The statement must show your name,
address and account number exactly as they appear in your PayPal account.

- Original receipts or invoices referencing your purchase or acquisition of
the items you are selling, along with the name and telephone number of your
supplier(s)

Now.. i am using entropay for my CC how do i get around that...? - I dont understand paypal i mean what if we used paperless CC where it does not show address? i mean wtf

Receipts and stuff i dont have i am doing consulting! No supplier here.

For the CC statement, you can get creative and do the paperwork in a wise way. For the receipts and invoices...you may need to contact PP and explain it OR just show your own receipts for services rendered - is your service registered? paying taxes? That kind of paperwork helps

You can supply an entropay statement in your stealth name.

Sort what paperwork you might have, in your stealth name too.

Think out side the box.

It is annoying your account is held up because of a client....

What paypal contact did you have before this email?

Verbal or email?

Yes however the entropay does not show the address? Also when you download it it comes in excel format does look very pro really. hmmm

PayPal contact was by email.

Not sure what other paperwork i can give - already gave them utility bill for proof of address in stealth.

hmmm thinking thinking

--another thing if i get creative with the CC do you think it will matter if it looks like it came from another issuer? ie barclaycard or some other?

Print the screenshots of the Entropay account.

I've had success with this before.

Yes but it does not show address and that is what they are asking for!

Are you saying you have sent that when they asked for address to.?

Thanks for the PMs sent one back.

Curious if i used a Entropay CC for paypal but show them a barclaycard statement with the EP number... would they not know it was wrong number for the brand? Brand mismatch. or?

Each bank has their own range of first 4 numbers for the card numbers, so personally I wouldn't take the risk if its not nessescary.
