No and Yes. If you really wanted too you could just remove all the cookies, etc and use it along side with the IP changing. But, it's easier to just have separate user accounts that way everything is separate and clean.

Correct.

This is a loaded question, everyone has their own method, Dialup, Modem Switching, Mifi, Dongle, VPS, Resetting Modem, etc.

I personally use a MIFI which works as both as MIFI and a Dongle (with usb cable) and I get a fresh IP every time.

This an area that does take some experimenting to see which works for you, no one can really tell you exactly which is best for YOU, you have too decide for yourself.

Good Luck.

I am thinking about purchasing MOBILE HOTSPOT FLASHED VERIZON UNLIMITED 3G INTERNET (MIFI 2200 4510) LG VORTEX

I was pointed in that direction, to purchase that, maybe it was you that told me. Anyway, how does it work? Does it come with a USB that connects to my computer and once connected then what? My computer is used with an ethernet, connected straight into the ATT UVERSE ROUTER/MODEM. I also have wireless in my house....So how does this work? **excuse my ignorance**

The key is the modem. I have the Arris TM602g version. Some of comcast's modems are not so easy.

Arris is good. All of them that I had, worked fine to switch IPs.

Ubee was a no-go. Impossible to change to IP with that one.

The good news, it's easy to flip through modems, assuming one has a Comcast center nearby. Also you can also request a specific brand, if they have it in stock at that time.

You can use this device 2 ways:
1. With USB Cable (This by far is my preferred method)
The USB cable will depend on the seller selling you the device
You will need to install the Verizon Software
You would need to "Disable" your current Ethernet Connection before connecting with your MIFI2200
I find it best to have a desktop link to my Ethernet Connection on my desktop so I can disable it before I use the MIFI2200.

2. As a HotSpot
This would require the Computer having a WiFi connection to connect to the MIFI2200, Ideally this would be a good idea with Laptops.
