has anyone in the usa used RBC? it seems like people in usa can open a rbc checking/savings account, but i'm not sure if it works for stealth purpose....

I have just been to Barclays bank (UK) and they said their savings accounts do not accept incoming direct debits.

If anyone is using a Barclays savings account with their PayPal account, which one are you using exactly? The e-saver definitely doesn't work - I tried and PP told me to go away. :)

I would test that, but I think I still have an RBC account in canada that due to the monthly $10 fee and the fact I stopped using it ove 2 years ago probably has quite the hefty negative balance :O

Vanilla Visa cards no longer works either

I have Sky broadband and literally pressing reset automatically changes the IP as it is dynamic.

Yea confirmed, used google voice. I made 3 accounts the other day using google voice to verify the phone verify part and ID check too.

uk ebay account holders may wish to be reminded that voip or landline format phone number is no longer required to make an ebay seller account, they accept mobile/cell phones and so that will save us a fortune in voip subs..

uk paypal - I am not recent on this as last one was last year, but I dont think paypal have caught up with the fact that more and more people are not keeping landlines at home anymore, location verification can still require a landline call, however you can just purchase a number if and when you need to use it as a one-off.

do you mean i can just use my mobile phone to verify uk ebay and uk paypal instead of using voip? and get a payg sim card?

^ on uk pp, mobile wont work if you are required to phone verify.....

.....You can open a pp and work away using a mobile number and if at anytime you need to phone verify, you can go get a landline number and put it in pp - pp are ok with this (you wont mess up your account) so play it according to your needs.

what do you guys think about using a mobile for ebay and then landline (soho66) for paypal.

ive done this on one of my stealth accounts as the soho66 number wouldnt work for ebay but went through paypal fine.

My personal opinion is that I cant see a problem with it because everyone usually has a landline and phone so its quite feasable me using both my mobile and landline - but just curious as to what you two guys above think?

I wouldnt bother buying a landline until I need it for paypal, which can be straight away of course, but then I would get rid of it, now that we can use cells for contact on file.

can we get a means to an end list for the uk in the members section?

It looks like this list is more for eBay & Paypal. As Im an Amazon fan, I have a question. Is eTrade good to withdraw from Amazon? Does Amazon allow it? All the ghost account info will match the info on eTrade.

Now what about EntroPay to verify credit card on Amazon? Now the EntroPay info wont match the ghost account on amazon.

Nevermind about the EntroPay, I just so happened to find this post by rsot on accident. :doh:

If eTrade accepts deposits from a stealth pp, same for Am az on.

people have reported that deposits under different name is a problem

I agree with lucy, it would be awesome & of great benefit to the UK stealth ebayer community if the top brass here created a UK 'MEANS TO AN END LIST'.
