had 2 of my accounts get the 0/0 out of 10, noticed its most likely because of updating number at the verification page (my first number had like 5 number two's in it, so messed up there when i updated it when they asked for pin).
second time i noticed is when they sent the pin to the number it didnt go through clicked again to verify, system froze for like 5 seconds, after it went through to payapl, but gave me the 0/0 afterwords

all other accounts had no issue since pin was sent the first time.

A week ago I was having huge problems with 0/0'd accounts. I was 3/9 in account creation last week, with 3 successes and 6 0/0'd.

I just started messing with the system a little bit to see what might get around it and what might not..... and I am now 3/3 for successful creations for the day.

No major secrets, nothing fancy. I'll let you know if these accounts get reverted back to 0/0.

I am also a victim of an 0/0. This time I decided to contact ebay yesterday during the busiest time and couldn't reach anyone. I wanted to take a chance and called them again this morning and according to the recording I heard, regarding my account, I have reached the limits for this month; however, the recording also stated that I am getting an increase in 30 days. I have decided to leave the account alone and not speak to anyone and check again on 10/9/2014. Any thoughts?

First time I have ever heard that they use an automated message to tell you about increases. Maybe the season is nearing and they are losening their belt.

This never happens. As the holiday season comes closer they only get more and more strict.

In light of that info I will go back and check a couple of my 0/0 accounts and see if anything has changed. Keep you all posted.

wow just tried to list on 2 accounts and got 0/0. My accounts a made 3 weeks ago I have no issues, got 10/10 on them both.

I'll also leave mine and see if it will auto increase to the 10/10.

The accounts I use and have been getting a 50% rate of 0/0 on are over 9 months old.

That said, I've been getting better at getting around the 0/0 limit. I was 3/4 the other day when I tried a new technique

so i created 2 accounts today but both got the 0/0 limit

first one i created i got the 0/0 right away as i was trying to list my first item but,the second item was listed but when i checked the limits it was 0/0, and item was still active untill after an hour i got an email mentioning that i have reached my limits

anyone find a diffrent technique?

this is probably the first week im having this issue

these are the exact same techniques i have been using in the past.

-new user account
-ip is always new since i tehther from my ipad(always reset it before logging into a diffrent account)
-made paypal and ebay with random name, real address
-always used google voice, just to modify, i tried tracfone (but was unsuccessfull)
- using vanilla visa gift for cc
- i never attached bank account for a whilet,had always worked for me in the past.


thinking of this time using a tmobile phone and attaching a vba, going to let you guys know how it works out

gonna try to find a pattern this time

This,is,where a Entropay comes,in handy, you can make your own VCC AND all,u need to transfer depending on the currency and the day is $2.10 and you don't need to confirm the card , u can just add it at first , and once u have limits than confirm the card with the charge.

Makes things a lot cheaper and much more convenient,

When I first created my real account, I had 100/1000 limit before it was suspended

Then I recently created a Stealth account and has 10/1000 limit, dont know why :(

I am getting 0/0 accounts the past 2 weeks also i am scared to even open one today because i will probably lose it . I here people saying its the phone i am using callfire forwarding service i usually use area codes around the address on the account. I dont know what it could be am i missing something here is it a new update on ebay???

Please if anybody knows the new technique to follow let me know i am lost without making new accounts i feel scared that i have no backup. I am doing everything i did in the past. Just confused what's going on now?

No deal, He uses my technique which is just a common random name and a pulled address from zillow. Ebay is made first then during selling paypal is created. Two weeks ago made 12 with no problems but then he had those three in the row.

Uses new ip address on century link internet, Email through Gmail.

ok, guys ive been trying to call ebay limit department all day for past 2 days,
they picked up twice, after i was on hold for about 2 hours each

first of all i noticed a diffrent mc999 when my item would first be listed, this time not concerning the item at all.

so i asked why the longer hold time?
they said they recently implemented their new verification system.
so they have a lot of traffic for verification, and somethinf about the iphone 6. that there having a huge rush

next i thought, ok there going to ask about the first item i listed, where i got it and how im shipping it etc and im finished.. how they used to ask before this week

with this diffrent mc999, they really dont care about the item at all, rather they just want to verify you as much as possible

first rep let it go easy, and though couldnt verify me, still gave 25/1500

second rep was really dedicated to keeping the enviorment a safe place lol,
told me to submit id

just a heads up to the ppl creating new accounts right away

You don't have to confirm the VCC to see your selling limits - you just have to create a selling account. It's a good idea to fully verify the Paypal account before doing that anyway, but not required.

If you're using something like VOIP or Gvoice for your phone verification, when doing a reverse phone lookup it will show Bandwith.com VOIP or something similar, versus a prepaid phone which will show AT&T/Sprint/Verizon (Tracfones included; they run off of a variety of those networks) etc. I think that's where the problem lies - a normal person would just use their cellphone (or landline) when making an Ebay account whereas VOIP-like services are mainly used by stealth users, which draws suspicion.

Anyone who has ever called into ebay because of the MC999 where they ask easy questions probably was asked "Are you calling from a cellphone, landline, or VOIP?" before. I'd imagine saying VOIP would be a fail on that question.

I'm still using Textplus or, Textplus and getting limits on accounts, maybe 2 out of 10 get the 0/0 but it can be fixed, so I'm not so sure it's the number , or at least the number alone

Tried 5 accounts with tracfones, Only 1 worked, 4 failed.

Try using a fairly Common name, look up the name in white pages, take the zip code corresponding to that name and look up addresses for rent on zillow or something like that in that same zip code. Not sure if it helps but this is what i do... In conjunction with the tracfone i have not had a 0/0 since this thread started.

That's a good idea only thing is when i went to sell something on a new account but that had already sold one item, no problems, i was asked a security question before i could continue with the listing.

Also what i have noticed that if you confirm your bank account and your credit card there's about 8 out of 10 no problems with selling accounts as long as you list low risk items and not a lot at a time or back to back til its at least 2 or 3 months old
