Is it the end of the world to clear history & cookies?
Since I have several user accounts operating from the same PC - over a number of years - I'm starting to stack up a lot of internet history files, which is now starting to affect the speed of my computer.
I've also noticed that eBay Scheduled Times, for instance, can go all wobbly if you don't clear the cookies. Just had to switch from Chrome to Firefox in order to have something start at the correct time (it kept changing the start time by itself!).
Is it asking for trouble to give my computer and all the users on it a good clean? Why wold it be a bad thing? When my computer stocks up thousands of old files/cookies/history, I feel I need to take a shower! |
