Default Natwest Bank Account

Hi there

I am trying to setup a stealth account. I have a current account with Natwest, which is being used on my limited Paypal account. I phoned up and asked for a new bank account, a basic one, with no debit card etc, and they gave me a First Reserve account, which seems like a savings account, AND they sent me a debit card, but they said that they do not credit check you for this account.

I wanted the Natwest step account, but they told me that they credit check you for this account. I don't want this as i'm trying to improve my credit rating.

Has anyone used a First Reserve account for stealth?, do they share the account details with Paypal?

Just called, they do.

So I have two accounts with the same bank now, If I set up a new PP account with my real name, and then give my new bank details which has my real name and same sort code, won't they find out?

@sasasasa You make the paypal/ebay in matching names. Then you attach the bank account (in your real name) to them. That info is not seen by paypal. NatWest is one of the 'good' banks as far as deposits & names is concerned

And the PP and Ebay accounts should be in my real name?

No. If your real name has been used before, then this round you need either a new name or a variation of your real name. Are you sure you are ready to make a new account? I know you have problems but rushing now will set you right back What are you doing for address & IP?

Yeh but sasasasa didnt understand so I thought I point out the keywords needed. lol
Also GB is right dont rush into it have it all well thjought out BEFORE you do anything.
I have been on this forum for around 2 weeks, got the book read it 3 times and have asked multiple questions. Have yet sitll to make my FIRST stealth account.
I rushed and got a dongle, which I now know I dont need, thanks to Vic. I also rushed and opened a HSBC account. I now know this is not working with name changes, thanks to GB and oopma.
moral of the story: Take your sweet time and get right first time, every time.

Got limited a month ago, spent far too much time trying to figure all this out. As far as address goes I was intending to use the same one, is that wise?. For IP address, new user account, and new IP address. So if I change my first name on my Ebay and PP accounts, and my bank account name is in different name, is that ok?

Desperate to get back on, as PP limitation wiped me out, but can't afford any mistakes
