Everything coming from China is checked but they can't check every parcel that lands from China, but they can also check and find most of the products from China get through. I'd suggest in future if you are going to import 400 Wii remotes I would do my homework and and import them in a more sophisticated way, rather than 400 bulky Wii remotes which will stick out like anything. smaller quantities = less risk etc!
