MC010 this morning can account be saved

ok so i opened a new stealth account up and listed 1st item a week later just checked this morning and been hit with MC010 Notice

what info shall i have to hand to get this matter sorted or is it a case of the account is now dead.i only listed a 12" garage record :(

any help vetrens

ive done a good search and a read but cant seem to find what the common questions are and is it worth risking or do you guys just move on,i hate having to just waste a new bank account just like that

MC010 is a soft verification, just send in docs and u r ok

OK well i got all the info etc in front of me so im going to ring them 2mow and hope for the best,i havnt got proof of id as it is a stealth account hopefully i dont loose it just yet

Also, for future note, don't list after just 1 week - you need to build cred with ebay - aim for a month or so later AFTER building some feedback.

I am fairly certain that is the reason - a lot of situations back up my suspicion.

If you call and answer the qs, you should be able to - sometimes they ask for you to send docs - if you have them, good - if not, new stealth

naa they want me to arrange a call but i thought id be abit quicker then them and ring in 2mow morning but im still not 100% if im ok do this lol feeding ebay sum stealth

ive just logged onto here and seen your message so i feel bit better now you say its not so bad etc (yes 1st time )

so you think its ok to ring them as i registered the account through sip and dont want to talk to them through a headset etc so gonna just use my house phone 141..

hmmm...yeh u could do private number...ive done that with paypal and it was fine. I would have said im on a business trip and not near my landline if they asked, but they didnt. I acted a bit dumb too. They loved that...bloody jobsworths/power-mongers

haha thats funny....ill see how i feel in the morning,ive got to do it realy as it was a fresh bank account etc didnt want to start losing them that quick,

What has happened with everyone I know who has had the set up a phone call thing in the UK. Ebay did not call. They just closed their accounts. asking them to send in the ID they want.

But the ID created for a stealth account does seem to be working, so not sure what they are asking for it for if they are not checking it properly.

Hopefully your idea bypasses that. But do not be surprised if they say they can't deal with it, as they do not have that information on their system, all the ID checking is being done through a different department.
I tried live chat and they sent me round the departments, and various countries but none could put me through to the people that would phone me or give me a number to phone.

Me thinks this is just ebay being ebay, seeing if they shake the tree a little so people panic and quit the account.

i got all the info ready downed an energy drink and sparked a fag up and got ready......waited 15mins ........ did they ring :( noooooo should of known

shall i just ring them if i can ever find a number for the buggers

im goin to set up a new account 2nite and leave it sitting for a month i spos so i can start getting infront with a few accounts letting the age etc

im in postion 19 on the ebay chat thing 1st time ive been on it ill see what they got to say about this account

phoned them twice there said i would get a phone call in 48 hours lol that was on fri,i tryed ebay chat and they said there would look into the matter bit of a joke realy missed out on the free listing on this account
