Say i have two new eBay accounts, and I use one of them only on my laptop and one of them on my desktop, both connected through the same wireless network can they still be linked? The Ip addresses are not the same so it should be ok?

we can but be careful.
But after many tests(not by me but by a few IT expert friends not just on Ebay) a ip link is not enough.
Why???
Because Ip's can be the same for thousands of people that is why.
But Best be careful and ensure your IP is Dynamic if diff accounts used.
Just a passing comment......
I do have a dynamic ip, i have been changing the mac address in my wireless router settings, this gives me a new ip, but is that only the internal ip? Or will ebay see this new ip? Just a little confused with this whole internal external thing
Right 2 computer on the same network (excluding bt)
say your default gateway is 192.168.1.1
Computer 1 will have something like 192.168.1.2 (internal)
Compter 2 will have something like 192.168.1.6 (internal)
Goto IPBurger on both computers and bingo both will have the same i.p totally different from the ones above, somthing random like 86.239.56.58 (external)
If not somethings wrong.
Who are you with ?
