Question about them pesky new account selling limits!
Hi folks!
I think I already know the answer to this question but I just wanted to make sure. I've just created my 2nd new eBay Stealth account and listed my first auction. Now they are saying that I have a selling limit of either 10 items or up to £650 per month which is a bit crappy cos unless I was going to sell 10 items that made £65 each then I'll reach my selling limit long before I've made £650! On average I make between £15 and £25 per item which will mean I'll only be able to make a couple of hundred quid per month per account at this rate ...
Anyway when I clicked on the option to increase my selling limits on my Ebay summary page it said to verify my bank account with Paypal - you know the thing where I type in the pin code made from the 2 random deposits they make in my bank account. I've read in another thread that once I do this then my selling limits will then automatically increase to 100 items per month or £1000.
Is this correct? Or do I have to do this and email / contact Ebay before my selling limits will be increased? I mean I do plan to spread some sales over a couple of accounts I've set up so already I can sell a minimum of 20 items / up to £1300 at the moment, which isnt bad, but I just wanted to know if my limits will be increased by verifying my bank account.
Sorry to be repeating a much mentioned topic again, but I wanted to check if this is right and if its relevant to the UK as well.
kindest regards
Johnny
