MM78 that is a true tactical defense right there lol. Buyers need the right kind of motivation to stop from being .... alot of examples of sellers getting buyers good in this forum.

Same, however on a new acct I look it at more like building the acct/ensuring the feedback score is raised, so even if I lose out after sending recorded delivery/eb + pp fees I basically just think "ok, just gotta make sure I get left good fb + DSR's to have made this worthwhile".

I had some idiot today screaming at me coz she never got her item.
The monkey didn't even put a door number on her ppal or ebay account.

Oh NO, this can't be real! AZ and eB buyers are the best and always fair.
This being sad. I have a few that i would choke with my own hands but no i let them to drop their pains, turn around, band over and then i kiss them right into that brown spot!

another buyer bought an item

delivered to him within 24 hours

says there are parts missing (i checked fully before sending)

What is this **** you send me is missing 5 pices,i want refund or i will open case and you can by shure i will give you negative feedback if you dont answer till tomorrow

got ebay on chat

this is what they say

"because we'll only remove feedback in limited circumstances. If we got directly involved in Feedback disputes, our opinion would replace our members"


crock of S***

hes a seller too with 700 feedback and never a negative

rather silly threatening bad feedback

some people could have lots of accounts and leave him many negatives and basically destroy his business if they were that way inclined

i ahte stroppy demanding clever abusive buyers

Ebay customer service is helping their customer, as they see it. We are just their dropshippers.

Was the loss worth the hassle? I keep finding the buyers seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper on ebay and will go on like this over items that are nothing.

Sadly this is the world of ebay, where you can't see the seller or the goods.
And the worst thing is that ebay always rule in favour of the buyer 99% of the time from my experience, I think really thats what has always put me off trading on ebay.
It's a real shame that someone's acted in that way towards you mate..But a measure of thought if they're UK buyers, why not photograph your items before dispatch and if they start coming up with excuses/lies like this then you have evidence.
A good friend of mine is a powerseller and came across the same problems for items he was selling from china..and he actually reported numerous sellers to the UK Police, who did actually take action. Shocking but true, I suppose really it depends on your local force. But it is classed as fraud in some cases..maybe photos would also help any ebay/paypal case, although I doubt it, but could put some buyers off trying a case
Also what MM78 said can be done through Royal Mail (keeping package at depot)

Interested to hear how ebay handle that one when they put in their complaint. and if it leaves a stain on your account?

Just been looking through my blocked bidder database after adding more to the list and noticed this comment I made about one from a few years back

right get this one

the mrs sold an item they sent a postal order (real legit account 100% FB and 400+ sales 4.9/5.0 dsrs all the way)

arrived in 48 hours

buyer emailed "its the wrong colour"

i got the number and called them

explained that the "white bits" was simply the white background showing through the gaps in the item

i offered to have some white bits added by a spray painter friend of mine, which they were over the moon about

my guy said it was impossible to paint them in

i called the buyer and explained

he said "thats great thank you for your help you are a great seller" ill keep the items if you would like to make a donation to a fundraising we are doing to pay for a party for a little boy (5 years old, supplied details of his name and address etc, i checked and its legit) who is dying with an incurable disease

sent a postal order with a donation for more than they paid for the item

they emailed thank you so much we will send you a dvd of his party

all good

got an email a week later, i want to send the item back for a full refund and promptly opened a case

what would you do ?

Bit complicated but well, if you want just tell them you made an agreement and consideration was paid eg. the donation and that would be in lieu of a refund. If it went to dispute you can provide proof of postal order as refund, stay schtum about the story, although it is on ebay messages they might see it anyway...

I do not see why you should pay it back twice!!!

but suppose the neg feedback situation always has to be taken in to account - whatever we do ....
