All my Natwest and RBS accounts are still 2 days.

Moving my personal accounts from Natwest to Lloyds TSB, so may have a little play with Lloyds (I'll make sure the names match )

What I don't get is my accounts with the RBS group can accept faster payments.

It's a gradual roll out across all the banking industry therefore each side has to have it set up before it will work.

p/p are obviously not there yet for all banks

Today, tomorrow or the next day its all money in the bank.

p/p have already found ways to hold your money longer than necessary and will continue to in future.

The struggle goes on.

Is it a newer account? Perhaps they only allow it on more "established" accounts.

@ Elijah - I think it is the more established accounts which are getting the 2 hour withdrawals.

My older accounts all are now getting the 2 hours withdrawals.....but accounts made more recently all still have the 2-3days...

i dont think its anything to do with the banks, banks have had the faster transfer going for a while.

I think its more to do with pp delaying he payments in the first place , once you have so many transaction, how you treat your balance , little disputes and so , then they see you as less of a threat.

I wonder, will the verification deposits start to be sent via faster payments, or do you think they'll keep it the same?
