Default reimbursement method for ebay

just trying to do some new listings on a fully verified unlimited account

bank verified

card added when account was created

100 sales plus 100% feedback

got the following message

Attention sellers:

Attention

It looks like you don't have a reimbursement payment method on file with us. To complete your listing, please add a payment method. This payment method will be charged the amount due to eBay when we’ve refunded a buyer for cases brought under our Buyer Protection Policy.

only option i get is credit card (wont accept the EP card hats on PP)

cant list without it

any thoughts guys, something ive never come accross, as far as i was aware the CC verified on PP acted AS the reimbursement method

In 10 years plus of selling on ebay its never asked me for this before

firstly WHY ?

and secondly an AVS card would sort it yes ?

So you did wind up linking your PP right? I would still recommend going in early and paying with a CC your eB fees in advance of them dipping into your pp

@RS it was already linked to the EB and verified fully

have no idea why it asked for a reimbursement method or why it said CC only

yes i always (mostly) pay the fees every couple of days saves a huge chunk of cash coming out at the end of the billing cycle

I think it really has to do with the glitches on PP UK right now. Just pay the fees in advance with a CC.

Can I just load the vcc before hand, when I think there could be an issue with a customer.

from experience you cant add a EP card to the ebay page

other VCCs will work

you need to go into your ebay account and add PP as a reimbursement method rather than add a card here

Still wise to pay dues before a dip into PP occurs

Could this not be the new return thing they were talking about in another post?

It is funny how their glitches seem to predict the future.
