Default Anyone else having this problem?

For past couple of days everytime I try and add a bank account on PayPal this message keeps coming up

The PayPal server is currently experiencing some difficulties. Please try again later or contact customer service

Obviously I don't want to ring them as the accounts all stealth but I really need to get this account added so I might have to bite the bullet and go for it.

Is this a way of PayPal making people ring up instead of adding details online or do you think there is a genuine problem with there server.

Seems strange it's been like this for a couple of days now

I would give it another 48 hours or so.

I have never had any issues when ringing PayPal to get bank accounts added, but its still always best to add them online if possible.

If you do ring, make sure you have all your stealth info to hand.

Can you give a bit more info, please. Is this a new PP account? Or are you adding a new bank account, or changing the bank account attached to your PP account.

Hi yes it's a new PayPal account I'm just trying to add the bank account iv verified the account with I.d just need to add a bank account now but it's not letting me do it for some reason. Just keeps giving me the above message

Wait 24-48 hours - could be a glitch. Also could try different browser.

Also...what bank type are you using? Name of bank?

Saver or current account?

A lot of the time when I've seen this, it has been when trying to add a savings account.

The problem usually does disappear after a couple of days. If it is "urgent" then call them up and get it manually added.

No it's a current account ill try again in 48 hours if still not working ill give them a ring
