the bank I added first I thought was ok cause i'd read a post on here saying their good, but further reading on here since shows more "not goods" than "goods" for that particular bank....

or does having the VCC make it ok as a 2nd option for them

thx
No - as long as you have paypal automatic payments selected they are happy. If you don't have funds when they apply - they will cancel the paypal mandate and ask you to set up something else. You will then have two weeks to pay manually (can be via paypal).

They will then let you set up paypal again - but beware as missing more than one becomes an issue.

Either pay your fees as you go along - or make doubly sure you have enough in paypal for fees when they are due to go out - not always easy - as you never know when a claim or chargeback may crop up.

Ebay fees used to be slow leaving paypal, i could always risk them going past the date by 2-3 days. Now they seem pretty quick at taking them on the 30th or 15th - whichever is your date.

going back to my original post here..

if direct debit mandate has been refused, then you do a withdrawal to bank for first time and that also gets refused and returned back to paypal, what happens then?

is the stealth finished or just the bank acc, or nothing?

would you just add a another different bank account?

thx

By allowing that to happen you are risking flagging your account.

Did you ever say which bank?

Don't wanna say too much on here (ebay spies)
The bank I opened for this one, I picked it because I had read on here prior that they were good..

When I set it up, the pp code didn't go in right away like it normally does, but it was in the next morning

Had no paypal notifications bout anythin, but got the DD refused email few days later,

And havnt done any withdrawals yet.

When I researched the bank I used more on here after I seen that's there more "not good" opinions on it than good ones...

So how likely is it that withdrawals will get refused after direct debit got refused?

Should I just add another bank to try or will that raise eyebrows??

You can use the account to withdraw without issue after the DD mandate has been refused.

can we use accounts without the DD mandate?

i dont see why this is neccasary? is the mandate to pay ebay fees with?
i always use my paypal balance to pay this off anyway.

1 - DD mandate lets PP take money from the account using a DD
2 - Yes

so all we have to do to NOT get this "refused mandate" email is to just make sure there are enough funds on the paypal balance to pay fees etc?

that way there would be no limitation or problem.

does this also means we can use bank accounts which do not support the DD?
