Buyer admitted they left a 1 star by mistake and apologised

Ebay wont remove it as its not under their removal policy, any way round this?

Ask buyer to put it in an ebay message stating clearly they did not mean to leave and it was an error, ask CS worker to review said message, they will normally remove it.

The new policy is not to do it instant like that used too, now you have to wait 72 hour for a response. So they will be looking into your stealth account, so if everythings in ship shape you might be ok, but its always a risk.

Can you not get buyer to revise their feedback? I've had this happen to me before and buyer revised their feedback using the revise feedback link. Pretty sure they used to have a link for this. Not sure if things have changed though.

Yes I have had this done loads. There was a great system I had figured out to get all negative feedback and defects removed, took me a while to nail what you had to do and the manner it had to be done in, but once i cracked it, defects got removed instantly.

However with the new policy that they do not do it live and it goes away to a department for three days, i am not sure if it will work (hadnt had to use it lately).

Yes Feedback revision is also possible, but you only get a few of those a year to use, so use them wisely (i.e when your account maybe coming out of top rated and you need a boost)
