Default Recorded Delivery Claims help

hi guys,

i have had a lot of my recorded deliveries with the royal mail go missing.

i have around 90 items i am entitled to claim compensation on for loss.

my invoices are from china and they are not very professional. I'm sure most of you know what i mean.

im concerned the post office won't accept these.

can anyone help me out here?

any advise would be greatly appreciated.

1st question - are you dropshipping from China?

Then go back to your seller and tell him you want better pieces of paper.

90 items is a bit over the top even for Royal Fail....

Look at using another Post Office for the future.

I have seen videos about royal mail where if you claim to many parcels from one specific address, they will investigate you.

But you can use purchase or sales receipts to prove value of items.

Any links to said video? I've got a few genuine claims in the last couple if months and am worried about this also.

If the items were sold on ebay I think you only need to print off the relevant sales invoices from there. F@ke invoices for your f@ke goods will probably not be required.

Best to tread carefully on this. That is a serious quantity to go "missing" over 6 months. As Bunneh has said, make too many claims and you will be investigated.

Why would you allow several months to pass without making a claim?

That could go against you.

You only have 80 days to claim if I remember correctly.

You need the original receipts as they pay out what it cost you originally, not what it sold for.

i have made claims before yes.

to be perfectly honest i was not aware that the items where not delivered.

you are able to make a claim up to 6 months after date of postage.

so what i done was enter all my tracking numbers from the last 6 months into royal males track and trace.

to my surprise i had 90 undelivered items that are eligable for claims. stretching all the way back to November.

Not signed for does not necessarily mean not delivered.

If you decide to submit a claim for an item that was in fact delivered you'll be in deep doo-doo.

In that case they will just send you the difference you paid for the signature. But they will pay out in stamps, not cash.

Better then nowt though. When i pay for a service i expect the service delivered, if that means a signature and they didn't get it, i'd claim it back too.

OP you also have to remember that they dont just refund you for the loss, they contact the person you sent the item to and ask for confirmation if it was delivered.. so EbayorBust is right, make SURE you are claiming legitimately.

They still only pay you conpensation for what it cost you to aquire.

They don't pay out for the full selling price even though they ask for proof of it. They stopped that practice a long time ago.

I completely agree. In principle we should all do it. Royal mail would soon sort their delivery systems out if we did.

the thing is i don't actually know what has happened to the item. weather it was delivered or not.

as far as i am concerned i have tracked the item using the barcode and the results show as undelivered. no signature.

i spoke to royal mail over the phone and gave them a few of the tracking numbers to look into for me. they came back to me with no trace of the parcel and that i am eligible to make the claim.

if once i make the claims, they contact the recipients of the parcels to check if the item was delivered and it was. Then in my book i have done nothing wrong.
How was i to know that the item was delivered if when tracked it shows nothing.
