Its just like the members above have said....

I would say start with getting a new bank account as it takes about a week to get the paperwork and details in - ideally a nice new shiny current account (you can apply online for most banks)

Then I would say get youself a new local landline number (depending on who you go for it can take minutesto get one)

Then make a new name for youself and pick an address fairly local to yourself - again can be done in minutes

Be fairly organised and note down all the details you will be using on your new setups (ie. what bank account you are using for the account, the name/address/phone number you picked etc.)

You are going to need to do a lot of reading around on this site to gain more knowledge and the book you will be buying explains all the steps in a clear way - so after reading around on here, dont worry if it gets a bit confusing, the book will explain a lot.

Also, dont rush into getting a new setup. Please make sure you are fairly confident in what you are doing as if you make a silly mistake, you will have to start again (no biggie, just a waste of your time and effort and a possible waste of a bank account)

As always, if your stuck on a certain topic, use the search function on the site and if nothing, ask away and someone will chip in and fix you up.... good luck

@Samg - welcome to the forums. You are getting a lot of solid advice so far. I don't want to sound mean but I won't walk you through this since 1. A LOT of info is out in open if you search the forums (yes there is a feature). 2. The stealth guide has everything so EASILY laid out.

Pick up the guide, read it then ask questions. Don't do this piecemeal business.

Your making a good start by choosing natwest for your first stealth account they are good with stealth paypals.

In regards using a VCC the main reason you would need this in the UK is to lift the £1900 annual receiving limit. To help lift this take a look at entropay.

A bit of advice I would try to lift this limit before you start selling on the account.

how longs a piece of string?

all depends how you operate the accounts and the types of items you are selling.

Theres so many different factors that affect this im not even going to attempt to list them.

@Samg - good start - now you must determine how to operate. Go slow on the account.

There is no finite length of time - some accounts last years if well maintained.

you can link your landline number to soho66 if you wish or you could link it to your mobile? thts completely your preference.

Id say the majority of UK stealthers on here use soho66 as it is the cheapest. Also its a good idea to keep the number active by paying the £2 a month incase ebay or paypal decide to call because if they cant get in touch with you they may limit or suspend your account and ask you to send in docs.

Few tips for you:

- lift the £1900 receiving limit using entropay before you start running money through the paypal account. Also you can use your soho66 number when prompted with this also.

- Dont sell on the account for ideally 30 days...however if you must try to stay away from selling vero items especially at first.

- Spread your sales accross several stealth accounts so you can start selling in some sort of volume sooner.

- Finally start selling SLOW
