Yes, they have lifted the restriction

However they asked me to update my date of birth myself which was originally wrong. because they cannot access my personal information. So how can I update my date of birth? there is no option in ebay to be able to edit it

i have a couple of times and they told me both times.

Finally I chatted with a guy who told me that he will escalate my issue to the right team to update my date of birth on my profile for me. And they will send me email to let me know within 48 hours. Fingers crossed! I hope they can work out for me. Otherwise I can't be bothered to ask them for more help. It's a waste of time.

Personally i wouldn't have done anything, i would have just left it like it was unless they contacted me again about it which i doubt very much they would.

i have same issue

just sent my documents to customerhelp_uk @ ebay.com

when should i chat to them on 'live chat' to check the docs?
should i leave it a while or go straight in?
