Activity: 0% Longevity: 58% | | Help please - buying 10 year old 20k per month selling limit business account
Considering buying this from a friend who had 2 accounts. Paying £850.
I have been suspended on my account as went over the DSR scores for too long. Am currently selling app 100k pa on Amazon with no probs but prefer ebay.
Question is...
If I buy this account, can I link a new Paypal to it? I can set up a new Bank Account to link to new Paypal.
Likewise, can I set up a new email and link to new Paypal?
Would I be best to leave all the details the same (friend's name, address etc), but get the seller to set up a new bank account in their name (just for this) and give me the Bank's online passwords etc so I can draw down the money?
Any help would be most appreciated!

A number of posts about on the forum recently about this.
It is very very hard to do what you are wanting to do without knowing all the ins and outs of how to run an account like that.
Your not going to be able to change the details and your not going to be able to link in a new PP.
Your best off either buying one from the forum or starting your own stealths.

You need to ask your friend WHAT the reason for the sale is?
Any information that is on the account is stored there, even if you remove it. Ebay still has the information. Same goes with paypal.
If you unlink the paypal account and put a new one of yours on there, the link is still there with both paypal accounts.
If your paypal account then gets limited, or your friends paypal gets limited they will both get shut down.
Same applies to the Ebay account.
Changing a lot details on accounts can cause flags and get you suspended/limited.
It is never a good idea to sell on another friend or family members name. It causes all kinds of problems.

Iv recently had some experience in this I bought an unlimited business account and it was not cheap.
Basically it got linked by my own mistake but the account was doomed anyway im glad it happened weeks into my new business instead of months or longer which would have crippled me
The safest way to do it is have both ebay and paypal in the same details and start from scratch

YOU Could if you wanted , add a second bnk account, if you used your own, you would add it LIKE its your mates.
then you could add a second UNUSED address to eby for your eby returns.
I would be surprised if you mate went for this and if he did , I can see you both falling out big style if/when you MESS UP

had the reverse thing happen to me through the wife taking pity on a sister that had been kicked and gave her one of my accounts, without my knowledge. Did she regret that as she watched every red feedback appear. And this was before ebay went nuts but there was still limits to stupidity.
A very short time later the account was canned and so was the account I was using at the time due to being linked.
I was arguing with ebay that I have not used the other account for a good few years, as it was going to be product specific and other products took over. I started on ebay around 2000 so it was different animal back then and i was opening accounts up for all sorts of things just in case i wanted the perfect name for the next product i was considering. Probably still have a dozen or so that I forgot about.
So a long story shorter I kiss goodbye to all my hard work and feedback on one of my main accounts. Even then I had three others that were not linked.
So if you want to keep your friend then don't do it, as i still want to slap the bitch every time I see her. And the wife still gets it rubbed in her face every time ebay does something to annoy me.

The bottom line is....It's not worth trying to run someone elses account like it's yours.

You breached your contract of care.
You are not allowed violence with hamsters.
Violence with keyboards but not with hamsters.
Shame on you, rsot.

I will have you know I gave you custody of peace loving AND gentle natured hamsters.
Nothing in their genes pre-disposed them to violence.
I make a judgement call that they have been mistreated then.
Shocking, simply shocking.
