I recently created a PayPal account with my real details just slightly edited, like adding my middle names and using "Jonny" instead of "Jonathan" for example.
I've paid for loads of things, and they haven't limited or locked it, so I'm hoping to attach that account to my MP account if all goes to plan and if a PayPal account is still needed at all, considering eBay is the payment processor from then on in?
This info isn't much help to people looking or needing to go full stealth, but if your problem was only ever with Paypal and not eBay, this might be an option.
Anyway, I will update as I go along
Regards,
Bumbles.

I have business ebay accounts that I have not used yet, no message about MP.
Will these be forced to use MP?

Just had one full stealth acct accepted for MP.
I am wondering if anyone has had deposits made to a mismatch name account yet?
Also on the question of where refunds come from, my understanding is they wouldn't be able to withdraw funds from your account without having a direct debit mandate in place, and that is not what is being done? You need more than just a name, sort code and account number to be able to withdraw funds from a UK bank account.

Hi
i am a new user here. sorry if i am posting in the wrong thread.
i run an ebay business under one account & it as my main income.
i have managed to run a stealth account for a while now using a limited company account, and putting a different details in ebay. and it's been doing well. even though i am legally registered as the directly of the company, i put a different name in ebay, but used my real id for paypal. now with MP. i am worried if i provide my id to ebay they will suspend my account again and knock down my business. my question is if i remove myself as a shareholder in the company and give my shares to a family member but remain as the only director. would ebay suspend the account if my name is linked?
i mean if you are suspended from ebay, can you work as a director for a company that you do not own? or will that affect the company? any thoughts is appreciated. thanks

How can they take funds from an account if there isn't a direct debit in place, or the debit card details for the account? Quote:

Savings accounts can certainly be added. Whether they stay that way once the payments start is another matter.

The accounts that have been added and verified do not have dd mandate.
I am also aware of several other folk that have added Payoneer accounts which again do not support dd mandates.
I'm not saying for a second that it's going to work long term or even for a short period of time but your claim that "the application would be declined" is wrong.

At the moment savings accounts are working fine to get added (yes those without DDs)
May they get removed? Yep they may well do, but right now they add without a problem.
You believing it or it not makes little difference to what is actually happening.

Whatever, you telling me I’m wrong does mean anything. It just your guess versus mine.
I still don’t believe that true debit-less savings accounts will be accepted onto MP.
I guess those who try and use them will report back in time.
|
And I'm not saying it will work either.
All I've said is that I know of a few instances where savings accounts (that do not support the DD mandate) and also other accounts with no dd mandate have been added to managed payments. Both the associated ID and bank statement were approved.
Yes, the dd mandate will definitely be rejected but whether that results in the bank account being removed is what we will need to wait for.

A lot more info available now. For those that are accepted you can access a PDF guide on the "Payments" tab. For refunds it says:
• Your Available funds may change if we process any additional orders or refunds before your next payout.
• If you refund a buyer, and you don’t have enough to cover the full amount from your Available or Pending funds, we will charge your payout
current account or automatic payment method to cover the remaining amount.
• These refund payments will appear as a new line item in your transaction report as a transfer, next to the corresponding order.

"Automatic Payment Method"
My first thought was Paypal as in the automatic payment method for paying Fees.
Bare in mind if that EBay force a INAD refund they often recover funds through Paypal even now.
Just a thought.
