What are the type of ID and address proof you have provided to PayPal?
Are you also trying to add a new bank account to withdraw the funds? |

Good. As far as I know they can't hold for funds.
If you have all the documents in place. They will release non doubt.
But you still haven't answered one of my question. Is it a new bank account that you are trying to get funds to? Or the same that was linked at the time of opening paypal? |

| Not entirely true. They can hold funds indefinitely, beyond the 180 day period, if they have reason to do so. |

@paypalpains - if you need help, you're better of starting your own thread. That way others can read up on what your issue is rather than confusing it with the OPs issue. |

My very first PP account back around 2000, they ended up sending it to my state as unclaimed money. And it was up to me to persue it at that point. I had forgot all about it! |

But if you've exhausted all possible avenues, then it may be better to move on. |

I have been in the same situation. I recently got a CCJ against paypal..
I just wait for the CCJ to arrive as a document and then, they are screwed.
I will teach PP a good lesson by going to press or sending HCEO to their office. |

Hi everyone, i have a same situation with 2 uk accounts..
Previous 5 didnt have any problem with id and proof but this 2 its a nightmare..
they were holding my funds fr more than 200 days.
I tried to chat with them via twitter and paypal message forum.
I sent them driving licence proof of address. They did not accept them and wanted new id .. i sent them passport and utilitz bill they still did not accept.
One woman sent me this reply.
What does it mean?
I have 4k there please help.

| No point keep sending in more stealth docs after they have rejected the first ones. Only genuine docs will get money released as they do verify or check docs somehow if first ones fail. I know because I've been in same situation. |
