how to remove paypal authorizations

Im abit confused, I read here on the forum that if your ebay account gets banned (NLRU) to go into paypal and remove the buyers paypal authorizations? Im in the process of creating a new ebay account with a new PP account, even though my current PP account is 100% fine. What can/should I do to my current paypal account before signing out for the last time. Or should I just close the account down?
