Default "Provide invoices" problem

Hello,
I'm new to e-bay and currently with zero feedback.
I have an item listed for sale at the moment, but my Pay Pal is limited and asking me to "Provide Invoices"
The item already has a bids and is still active, It's an old /vintage/ item-collectors value, and will be sold for at least $800,but I don't have payslips or anything like that /it's about 40yrs old/ I don't know what to do ?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

why is paypal asking for invoices? did you have an old paypal account you are using? please explain a bit more. are they asking you for an invoice for the item you're selling? there has to be a reason why your account is limited. you would need to get eBay Stealth to get some advice and i would advise you to remove the listing from ebay immediately. provide some more info thanks

No it's my first Pay-Pal and my first e-bay ..never had one.
I have zero feedback, just got an item sold for about 200usd and another one which is still active.
I think they are asking invoice for the first one. But I can't provide one, as it's a very old item.
I'm about to ship the first item tomorrow..

If this isn't a stealth account (and to be honest it doesn't matter if it is) give them a call and explain, I haven't sold anything yet and ask what they want invoices for.

They'll look what you have listed on eBay then they will say we want invoices for "The 40 year old item" then explain I've owned it for 30 years.

You don't need to provide invoices for used items.

If its stealth, you may need to provide ID, Bank statements etc all of which are easy enough to provide.

yes call them; if they don't remove the limitation then you will have to wait 180 days for your money; so i would remove the other listing. keep us updated on their response

Probably best not to sell high value items off the bat, sell some cheap stuff first and get feedback

Thanks people,
the problem is partly solved now.. I called them and the "provide invoices" for my used items is no longer necessary.
The first item is now shipped I've provided a tracking number. It'll take about 5 days to arrive.
It seems that I've been too silly to think that it'll be easy as pie..should've tried to find out more about selling on ebay, but I was in urgent need for money..
Will post back later for update.

ok great good luck and keep us posted on any new outcomes. paypal and ebay sucks! they're only doing this because they monopolise the market in the industry which they operate
