I posted on another thread that I had three attempts refused. The pound charge is showing as pending but the paypal account shows the card has failed. I did register another account just over a week ago the first attempt was also refused, then I used a VCC that I had created and left alone for a few days. I don't know if it is something to do with the time the card is created to when it is first used on paypal so I am now playing a waiting game for a few more days with a card I created yesterday and see how that goes.

I did another today and I changed the relevent details literally half hour before and it went through, just waiting for the few days for it to show!

My first took around 36hrs.

everytime i use entropay to lift limites on paypal it never works. dont know what im doing wrong...

Entropay Vcc!!

My first one I did couple wks ago it took PP approx day and half for it to accept the CC, I was under the impression it was because I tried it straight the way after Id changed the Address details in Entro

...but I did another PP today and just tried it with my freah vcc Id made (in new Address) literally half hr before and it went through No probs, just waiting for the pp code to show up on my statement, Job done!!!

oh and the new Vcc I made was from my 2nd Vcc I made couple wks ago.
So both havnt came off the original one and it still works. (answer to your other post in the other thread regarding whether they have to all come from the first original vcc)

cheers 4rings for replying..im stumped with entropay. not sure what im doing wrong. how much money do u put into the spawned vcc's? i only ever put £1.10

first one I created I put £2.00 on it at first then topped it up a day leter to a fiver because I read somewhere that it could be the reason why it wasnt working

. The one I created today I put £4.00 on it, £3.90 after the 10p deduction.

Have you always tried it with just £1.10p on??

Have you tried putting more than £2.10 on at all?

Reason why Im saying that is because even though pp aint showing the code in the statement yet, Im missing £2.00 instead of the £1.00 (which is normal for the deduction to occur straight away)...and Im sure that happened on my first one aswell. Im going to keep a close eye on my next!

Dont know if anyone else could enlighten me on that one.

Cheapskate

Used to be OK to only load that amount. I had a couple of rejections so now I always load £10 to a card. Try that.

rings, 'cheapskate' was directed at cortex.LOL. Cross-post. But as you say, I know that £1 or £2 used to work, then the amount changed.

LOL @ GreenBean..hey im a student.. trying to make and save a few quid, especially given the current economic climate, however, your words of wisdom are priceless!

Thanks for the tip, i'll try loading a few today with £5+ and i'll let you guys know how i get on in a week or so after its matured a bit.

entropay is working ok, need at least £3 on, then you can use 1 card for both paypal and ebay, any leftovers get transfered to another card anyway as long as its over a pound.
Let address mature 3 days

Lemme know if i did this correctly, or not...
1)changed my entropay address to match my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ PP details - name/address/postcode

2)immediately after changing details, I made a new VCC with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name matching the name on my new PP.

3) I added £9.90 (previoiusly used to add only £1.20)

4) Wait 1 week for the new VCC to mature

5) Add the numbers into PP/ebay

Am I doing it correctly?
Maybe I need to wait a day or so between steps 1. and 2. to let the entropay database make the necessary changes in my address?

Cortex - When you are changing the details under your account, You are only Changing the Address right??? and not your actual Name aswell??

When you create the card you can call it whatever but dont change your real name under the account options. Just checking...

4 rings: I goto Acount Settings and change my Billing Address details only. Then i goto Create Card and enter a false name. No I dont change my real name under Account Settings. Is this ok?

PS r u into Thai Boxing/Muay Thai? 4 Rings is a very famous gym in Thailand. Anyway, random info asisde,.. I hope im doing the steps correctly lol

Anyone got any ideas what is wrong with my entropay card, I havent tried adding it to pp yet, Iv been trying to use it with other retailers to make sure it works but its getting rejected? one store even banned me because I kept trying, I contacted entropay and they said that they dont do address verification & that may be causing the problem.

Iv currently got my correct address on my entropay account which matches my real debit card so whats the problem? If its not working with normal retailers surely it wont work with pp. the cards 3 days old could it be that?
