Hey my halifax withdrawal is slow and seems to be working in reverse order. My 12th June withdrawal is in my halifax before my 11th and 10th June paypal withdrawals.

Wasn't worried yet but glad i saw your post !

I just received this email on two accounts. Both are member accounts(savings for Credit unions) so it looks like This little trick for cashing out limited papal accounts is now closed. Oh well I guess.

Dear XXXX XXXXXX,

To confirm your bank account, we tried to make 2 deposits into your
DFCU
X-0832 account on Jul 12, 2016.
The money was returned, however, because your bank does not recognize this bank account number.
To fix this problem:
Contact your bank to double-check the account number
Log in to PayPal and click Link bank account.
Enter your bank account number and follow the instructions.
Thanks,
PayPal

The cause of the issues was paypal being rubbish as usual. The volume of complaints on their community websitr/fb/twitter showed it was a widespread issue.

Absolutely no problem with using savers from the likes of Halifax, Santander, Natwest and associates as long as you operate them correctly.

All this talk of 'problems with savers' when talking about the above mentioned is just a myth.
