Default MC019 eBay Listing Removed: Trademark Breach - Unauthorised Item

Why did we remove your listing?

- After careful consideration, your listing has been removed because it didn’t comply with our policies. We received a report concerning the authenticity of your item. These reports can come from a number of channels, for example law enforcement. This removal was for your safety and the safety of the eBay community, so please do not relist your item.Relisting your item may result in the restriction of your account.

My items ARE authentic so I believe this notice is in error, the manufacturer of the items aren't even listed as a vero participant so is there any hope of me getting this lifted?

This happens on a hourly basis on eBay, members getting this message.

Authentic or not, this can still happen.

Phone eBay to get some more information if you want, probe them about it.

Welcome to the forum,Allan.

Manufacturer of an item does not need to be listed as a VeRo participant.

Your items may be authentic but if you do not have the right to onsell them, then you have grief.
Preferable to tell us a bit more info. In the mean time, here's a thread that outlines what is possible to do if you are assured of your rights to list the item(s)

Also I must recommend that you do not list the items until everything is resolved. ebay uk is being hostile over the past 6 weeks with suspending accounts that are associated with vEro.

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/vero/97...hallenged.html Depends on the item being sold.

Yeah, I was going to mention that the Vero does not have to be on the VERO List, just wasn't sure.

Definitely get on the ebay chatbox and talk to someone, its a great way to get your questions answered and they may remove the violation.

I've got a reply saying even though they appreciate my items are authentic they made the right decision based on the following factors;

Some concerns with the listings we removed were:

- As you know a seller?s feedback is a very important part of their eBay
account. When a seller receives feedback concerning authenticity of
previous items, we take these concerns seriously. While this wasn?t the
only reason used to remove your listing, it was a factor.

- If you are offered something, especially in bulk with a huge discount,
stop and think about whether you're just getting a great deal or if
there might be a reason for the low price. Use the eBay discussion
boards for the category where you are buying and selling. The people who
post on the boards are some of the most knowledgeable eBay users.

Looks like I lost that one :(

Ah, the generic POQ for an account.

Sorry to hear this. However, has this given you a better idea for the next battle, oops, account?

Only my .2p, try to avoid the ebay discussions boards. There are some really nasty types there. Or, if you do venture there, wear a flak jacket

Fitting?
