Avoiding VeRo items???? help???

Just curious if anyone knows what phone case manufacturers dont have or use the vERO program.

Or any other branded items that sell well that are not vERO.

Branded means the owners of the item have the right to control its sale.

You could run into a problem with this scenario.....

a phone case manufacturer may produce a phone case suitable for an iphone.

Apple has the right to turn around and stop the sale of such cases....

It's complex and intertwined.

Dont forget this as well.

ebay has the VeRo program. Many companies are named as being members.

Membership is not essential. A IP rights owner can still get items removed for breach of trademark. Their name is not always on the VeRo program

The tricky part about phone cases is that many brands make cases. If you use their brand name you will get them booted, and if you use the phone name in the title for which the case is for, then the phone owners (apple, samsung, etc) also have the right to boot you.

I personally dont sell phone cases, but I know several people that do, and they have figured out the process.

I will tell you the key is not to sell the "hot" case that everyone else is selling.

Find your own niche category of cases or get creative with your marketing and how you sell it.
