You should try to resolve this with the customer first.
If the tracking is showing as attempted delivery but there was nobody at home, you should explain this to the customer and either arrange or have them contact USPS to arrange re-delivery at a time when they will be available.
Once the buyer understands the situation and that you are not at fault, they should hopefully retract the A-Z claim.
Is there a contact number still showing on the order page? It may be easier to deal with via telephone.
