Buyer left a feedback revision, what should I do?
Hey guys, good to be here again I have a quick question for you.
I have been selling on Ebay for a little while and have been doing great business wise, I really enjoy it. But recently I had a problem with a buyer. I sent the guy an item and it didn't work. He left me good feedback initially, but then he realized it didn't work properly (I thought it did when I shipped it) and he went back and left a feedback revision saying it was a "Bad transaction, item was not as described and didn't work!". We did communicate about it being a mistake and resolved that I would give him a refund after he sent the item back to me, and that there were no hard feelings or ill intentions.
Now that I have accomplished that, what is the best way to get him to erase that comment?! Is that even possible? Or do I have to live with that potentially business killing comment on my feedback page? (I am still at 100% positive from the outside however thankfully).
My thoughts are that I should
1) Wait until the transaction is complete (refund issued) and everyone is happy.
2) Ask very politely for him to remove the negative comment under the context that it was an honest mistake on my part.
