Default 0.99 usd cheap things how effective for selling limit?

Hi guys
i am live in China,i would like open several stealth account and start selling cheap things like keychain or similar some stuff, this kind kind of stuff very cheap in China 10-15 pcs about 1 usd and shipping cost for worldwide 15 usd for each kg
rough calculation for keychain with small envelope about 20 gram
20x50=1000 gram it is about 15 usd
50 pcs keychain+envelope 10 usd
without paypal and ebay fee costly me about 25 usd

for example if i have in my account now 100 pcs selling limit,if i sell like this 100 item and after increase to 200 pcs then again if i sell small thing until reaches 500-1000 pcs listing limit can i start selling some expensive things? 20-30-50 usd stuff?i am a little afraid coz if i sell cheap things maybe ebay thing you sell too much but total selling price very low?

You need to build history and value on your account. What kind of "expensive" things are you aiming to sell? F*ke items? or...

I wouldn't worry about the selling price.

eBay and PayPal mainly want to see that you are delivering your items as promised, that customers are happy with them and that you handle any complains or returns professionally. This gives them the confidence to increase your limits.

Limit increases do not happen on a specific timetable that we KNOW OF. Different members of the forum tend to have different results. Shipping quickly, entering tracking numbers and positive feedback HELP, but it still takes time to get to where you want to be. For stealth accounts, I do NOT recommend requesting limit increases - just let them happen automatically.

And yes, once you build some history, it is OK to sell more expensive items between $20 and $50. Mix them in with the cheaper stuff and reduce the cheaper stuff over time. You don't want a DRASTIC change in your inventory. As long as you switch gradually and don't sell any high-risk items, you should be OK.

Exactly. People are less likely to complain about the cheaper items and they can be a quick way to recover from a low DSR or two. Still, you need to be careful. I would say just do your best, deal honestly and be professional. If you can do that, you shouldn't have too many problems with eBay.

I'm glad I saw this thread. I had one seller the past month leave a neutral feedback and 1 leave a negative feedback that's now over a month old. Between bull**** and some DSR's they have my projected seller level next month for below average when it's above average right now. I don't get why because everything I'm doing is legit. Not cutting any corners.
My account is fairly new I got a few boxes of small used items yesterday but giving I'm capped at a certain and given I don't have the patience am not going list them separately but probably in lots. I know I can't say the products name theres 4 different manufacturers and some of them are worth money just trying to think how the hell I can boost my feedback in this area or will it just backfire everyone collected these when they were kids and still collect them today. Basically a lot of collectors are picky and some just want to replace something they had that's nostalgic. Some are worth nothing and some I've search are going used from $ 2,5, 10, and a few are 15 and 25. I know some people grade these. I picked through some of them don't if I'll find a diamond in the rough but given their not in the packaging anymore is it best I just sell them in Lots.
