What kind of risk is there to receive a payment of around 300 on an aged stealth PP with 0 history. Has GC visa attached and VBA verified.
If it's sent as a gift would it help if it's risky? This would be a through a private transaction and no ebay involved.

$300, aged to me means it has already has received some transactions. You have a 50/50 the payment will be held for security reasons....or they will let it pass....hard to know sometimes.

Aged + Zero history means very little. Sometimes aged accounts don't put payments on hold, but most of the times they do.
Odds are, it will go on hold. More likely so, since its $300 USD.

Yes this is in the US and payment or gift would most likely come from a US buyer. To clarify this is a private payment being sent, no ebay in between.
If they 'hold' it does that mean they need dox sent in and will hold for 180 days or just the duration of the transaction? What If I have that amount in my paypal already x-fer'd from the attached vba?
Thanks for your help guys.

21 day holds has nothing to do with docs
Its about trust. Build up trust with PayPal and the 21 day holds will go away
If this is your first payment then its likely it will have 21 day holds on it

Just this one time, perhaps try doing it as "service". I've done this before and so far no issues.
Also, I recommend you read the stealth guide. I'm sure it'll help you in many ways

@jimmysalmon, make sure you do NOT try to withdraw the money to the VBA - it is a pretty easy mistake to make if you aren't actively checking yourself

Speaking of withdrawing those funds, how do you plan to get that money out safely?

So money will be held for 21 days? I can live with that. Actually thinking about transferring a couple hundred to the account from vba just to ease paypal bot, if that will even do anything I dunno.
As for getting funds out would will transferring maybe 20% every so often be okay? Then waiting a week or 4 in between the next one. Take it slow.
If you take out too much and trigger the bot you will get 180 day hold correct? In the event they do hold for 180 days has there ever been a case where the john doe was not able to get funds out after the 6 months?

You need a USA bank account in the USA for withdrawing funds. No VBA in the USA for withdrawing funds.

Ah thanks, guess I'll do that then.
Do people buy crypto currency and then cash it out ever? Can you dump your balance into an exchange without any flags?

OP - Are you in the UK? (as per your flag)
If so, your better of getting the money into a UK PayPal as you'll have less hiccups. Where you do run into issues, your more likely to be able to resolve them.
On the other hand your clearly not very well acquainted with how US PayPal work (they are considerably different to UK). So if you run into issues, you'll find yourself in a sticky situation.

Yes I'm in the US, I'll change the flag thing.
If I x-fer from vba to PP will my name show on the vba account? I would think so.
And also again is the worst that can happen is PP does a limit on the account and seizes funds for 180 days? Do they ever not release after 180 days? Can you transfer to a VBA on a limited account after the 180 days?
