What I've seen is big companies like PayPal are deaf to customer complaints, even when they make a massive stink about it on social media and the like.
Take Costco & their beloved polish dog for example.
After many years of having that $1.50 polish + fountain drink at their food court, Costco made the decision to discontinue it.
The Internet (and media) went nuts over it. It was estimated that hundreds of thousands, if not a million or more contacted Costco to protest the decision.
Costco did nothing. In fact, their PR guy told people "sorry, we are not going to change our mind about it".
This is the norm for corporate America. Get used to it.
