Default selling limit now reduced to 30 items only....

I made a few stealth accounts recently and they all come with 30 items/ $2000 limits. They used to be 100/$5000 a few months before.... :(

Is it just me or everyone got the same?

Best to read around the forums - work with your limits and build - or make new accounts to try in different ways. It is a known news and yes, kind of hurtful at times

Well, it should not matter as I've created many accounts in different countries - ebay.co.uk, ebay.com, ebay.com.au. ebay.de, ebay.pl etc... Don't know how much exactly, but definately more than 100 over the last two years. The most loyal is ebay.co.uk where the limit is 650 GBP/10 items which is much better than .com $500/10, but anyway not as high as 2000/30...

when you mean experimenting, what do you mean exactly? Is it even possible nowadays to open a new stealth account on ebay.ca and immediately get 30 or more items as a selling limit?

He meant that you might get no limits if you continually made accounts. You will only get 30 after requesting higher selling limits and confirming the deposit amounts in your bank account. If you don't, you will just get the 10 limits or if you are lucky, you may not even need to do this as you may get no limits from when you registered.

nope but usually I would open up an ebay account on ebay.ca and automatically be given 30 items limit. Now for some reason its always 10 items.

That doesn't happen. You only get a 10 maximum when registering. Request the higher selling limits and you will get your 30.

I actually got flagged for id verification on one of my latest stealth accounts. I don't know what triggered it, maybe could it be due to the fact that when I registered with ebay I put one telephone number, and then when it came time to sell and get the automated call with the confirmation code, I entered a different telephone number? Could that be it?
