for me FUD is setting in........gold and bitcoin is not exactly the same.....
their is no real advantage over bitcoin vs other altcoins........all the technologies do pretty much the exact same thing.
gold, diamonds, silver, bronze, copper, palladium.....their is a real difference between these precious rare commodities....... |

| Bitcoin is very different to the other coins, in that its not owned by any single person / institution. That's what sets it apart.
I'm not saying its superior or inferior to others, I'm just saying its different.
Generally speaking, the markets all move together, so regardless of what coin you invest in, if its in the top 5, i'd say they will move in the same direction.
Now if FUD is kicking in after a small price dip, then investing is not for you. Cash out, before you have a heart attack. |

if bitcoin were to be fully mined i don't believe it will deflate on price....people will just switch to another crypto to use that is available that is cheaper....
we saw an example of this when bitcoin fees were crazy high back in december.....
if gold were fully mined......people dont just switch to silver........ |

yeah crypto is in straight free fall.....japans new regs, and guaranteed south korea will follow with new regulations that will send the price even further down now..........
1 hack, or terrorist attack in america or uk........probably will be the same situation......govt will step in and increase regs.......like the bank with the us patriot act after 9/11.
whats going to happen is that the price will stabilize after all of the regulation and their probably wont be as much volatility.......once it stabilizes and exchanges are all "safe" then I think institutional investors will come in and start playing........ |

same pattern for almost 2 weeks now.....free fall again asians/europeans mass sell offs.....at the moment......good news my tether money is worth more bitcoin now lol.......i hope tron drops down to $2.5 cents.....thats when i will buy in........and wait for it to go to 9 cents again lol |

You have to ask yourself... What's a problem you know for a fact exists, and what blockchain project will solve this problem?
The only one I can safely say solves a problem that isnt a fork (replica) is BTC. And it has nothing to do with buying a coke at the store... Visa works just fine for that.
The problem I have is inflation, the ability for my money to be confiscated, and having to ask permission to send funds internationally.
And I'm not going to put my faith in a project that's controlled by a small group of people or has a CEO. Or a project where the network isn't secured by proof of work. (and not the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Nano kind of POW, I mean a actual POW algo that millions of chips all over the world are hashing away on) Not just nodes validating transactions. I'm talking about the type where it would cost more money to do a 51% attack than could be gained by attacking the network
I'm not about to put my faith in a project that was only created out of greed and had a pre-sale or pre-mine or dev fee built into the code.
Any thing other than that is just blindly hoping someone will be willing to pay more for the coins you're holding in the future.
Now dont get me wrong. I'm holding 8 ETH ATM and I don't see Ethereum solving any world problems right this minute. I didn't buy them, I mined them, and I'm blindly hoping that someone will be willing to pay more for them someday.
The only other coins out there that fit this criteria are Monero, but since its a privacy coin and you cant look at the blockchain its practically impossible to know if it's under a 51% attack. And Raven Coin, but I don't see it solving any world problem any time soon. |
