I approached the employee as I was confused by different statements on the side of Ebay employees and that was really the case btw.

The biggest seller on Ebay.de in this category is doing it right and his listings have been active for more than 3 years now. He only sells iPhone cables and have like 25 listings for these. None of them got veroed down.

Really, you've got too many sneaky, complicated plots and ploys and schemes going on in your brain, it must be exhausting to work this hard at something so simple, just go get back on and keep your nose clean from now on and tell your customers the truth.

I kept a list of sellers and listings of that category, more than 20 sellers and like 50 listings got reported by Markmonitor in the period between Sep-Nov/2017.

The cables I used to sell were really of good quality. It was really hard to spot the difference between them and a real cable from Apple. I had more than 2000 feedbacks for these cables and 99.9% of them were positive and the customers couldn't be happier. When a customer was not happy with what he got I used to sent a return-label and issue a refund once I get my item back (sometimes even without asking them to send anything back).


So all in all not even a single person was tricked, scammed or whatever. All the customers definitely knew what I was selling was not original cables from Apple. Nobody comes to Ebay to get authentic lightning cables and that's a fact. You can't really be that naive and think an original cable is going to be sold for 5 $ and without its original packaging!!


I see it this way, I tricked the Ebay search engine (as all other sellers do) and used the word "Apple" in my title so that the placement of my listing will be pumped up in the search results.


Anyway, I appreciate your advice and will absolutely not repeat the same mistake with titling never again.


P.S: There are no schemes, ploys or plots of any kind going on in my head I don't know where you got this idea from

No, EVERY SINGLE PERSON was tricked and scammed! But I'm glad you have the ability to downplay it, and feel like you did nothing wrong.

You're very new to eBay, so trust me when I say this to you... you would have a METRIC SHIIT TON of negative feedback if your customers thought these were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ cables after they received them. Lucky for you, you were selling decent quality cables.

Germans are the kind of customers who give a damn A LOT. You have no idea how criticizing the German customer is and how hard it is to make him/her satisfied. Simply put they expect to get everything for every cent they paid and they're actually used to have a decent quality in pretty much all branches of the economy.

Luckily I sold a very high quality cables, one could hardly differentiate between an original cable and one of them. I even had more than 60 customers that gave the exact following feedback:
