You Must remember that VERO is an Ebay PROGRAM designed to to allow Companies to protect their products. This means ANYTHING can be VERO including the pictures and/or TEXT in your Ads, Depends where you got them.
Some companies simply DO NOT want there products on Ebay.
These are normally Hi End, very expensive products. Most Companies want to make sure
that the items (or CERTAIN company items) are legit.
Whenever you get a VERO Voilation form Ebay, you should also be contacted by a representative from the Company (sometimes Trademark Infrigment/Copyright Lawyers).
If Not, Ask Ebay for the VERO Members contact info, and contact them. You will most likely (Depending on the item) have to provide actual photos, bills, recipts, ect, ect. Once they are satisified Ebay will clear your account. If you want to continue to sell the item it is always best to prove that you purchased it in bulk from an Authorized Company Distributor/Wholesaler/Representative, and Ask THEM, not EBAY if can or can't
continue to sell the item, they will tell you what you need to do.
As for the Hi End items, U.S. Law changes DRAMATICALLY if the item is Used, Like New, whatever, as long as the item is NOT being sold to someone who believes (in ANY way) that He/She will be the first INDIVIDUAL owner. You may still have a VERO problem, but FAR less likely. In this case you will have to give up some profits, and be VERY, VERY careful how often you list these items.
I have had a lot of personal experience with all of these issues over the years.
There is a LOT, LOT more to this, Do your HOMEWORK on the products you want to sell.
If you have any Questions, reach out for me, If I can help, I will.
