Question Are ebay links used to plant tracking on my computer
I inadvertantly clicked on an ebay link on our ebay computer. My gf has told me to NEVER click on a link to ebay as it will plant a tracking cookie that will migrate . True? If so how do i cleanse before i have to tell her? :-)

Yes she is 100% right never you can use ccleaner to get rid of the cookies.

When you say "click on a link" what exactly does that mean ? Like from an email or something ?

their links in email are not clean... after the proper link there is lots of data with some code. I would not mess with that
