I do get this from a number of customers.

People are buying things at 10pm on Sunday, and messaging me at 9am Tuesday asking where their item is.

A lot of eBay buyers want something for 99p, and they want it send with a 24 hour courier and a glass of bubbly. It is getting annoying now . But we have to smile none the less and not tell them to go to hell

On the plus side my sales are not rock bottom, but I do have a lot of product lines all that have sub variations. Lines that are usually very active are dead at the moment, luckily others make up for that.

I agree with Stanislav here. Look, we all know eb gets more rediculous all the time. And what? Your time is not money? Not only you make less profit or no sales but you also have to waste more And more of your precious time trying to keep up with weekly new policies changes, dealing with brainwashed buyers and getting no help from CS all for your generous 10% and up fee.

I have been saying this for a long time. Eb is its own worst enemy. Their greed and internal bloat will cause them to implode from within.

I think it's annoying , can't mark as dispatched once lable is printed , have to click back so it's slowed me down a bit.

Can't understand it though , I logged into one of my stealth accounts and the page is as its always been , so I think the people are correct on here in saying that the whole site is a little glitchy at the moment.

So true I had an buyer today. Message me asking if his item has been shipped. He paid by echeck. Told him I have to wait until it clears to send. He responded I already paid by Paypal. I hate morons like this. Especially when it is an item you are already selling at a loss. Always the ones who pay the least that waste the most of your time.

Finally told the buyer it doesn't clear until such date. I will gladly cancel your transaction and cancel the payment if you prefer. I hate dealing with people like this. Usually these people send me a dumb message before so I can block them. I hate when they are bombing you inbox over dumb stuff they paid nothing for. Wasting your time.

For the most part non-existent now for the products I sell. I guess if you sell unbranded electronics, or basic items that are in the epacket from china relm of delivery you in trouble.

I agree though with one of the other posters, almost all my complaints come from shipping. I have had people in the US who purchased at 3 pm, message me at 5pm on a smaller stealth account. Why hasn't my item been shipped yet. It is ridiculous.

I do have to say the things eBay has done is DSRs and not allowing Sellers to leave any negative feedback for buyers. I mean even if the buyer doesn't pay you can't leave it which is B.S.

Well, some of your getting the $100-$200 a day in August should feel fortunate, since I've not been getting enough funds for bills since July. 2nd week of Sept has gotten a tiny bit better, but not by much.

Don't know what happened but Fri. 13th was the best sales day I have ever had. Woke up this morning to having to print 5 labels. That's phenomenal for me. That would be what I considered a good week. I don't think the economy is slow. What I think is these dam reality shows have ruined the buying market. The behavior they exhibit was TV & until now I don't think people acted that way. I used to be scared to go into the pawn shop. They had more guns and carried them than the po po has.

I haven't had a huge drop in sales, but I've seen a huge uptick in bizarre/brokeass buyers. I sell household stuff for the most part (think high end yard sale finds in the $30-$50 ranges), so my buyers are domestic, buying a brand they know.

I have shifted from auctions to 100% BIN mostly out of laziness but also to just weed out the auction buyers who seem to be a bigger PITA. I know the value of what I'm selling and my price is fair. It isn't the lowest, but it's fair and all I need is a buyer who knows what they're looking for and they're always willing to pay my asking price.

However, in the last four weeks alone I have had to chase more buyers for payment than I have in the entire 15 years I've been on ebay. They do a BIN and then...just vanish. I've had buyers with 0 feedback in countries I exclude somehow take down a BIN and then I have to go through the hassle of canceling the transaction, getting my credit back from ebay, etc. I've had two returns this month after having zero returns--ever. These were on brand new items with tags because they didn't "fit right" or some other silly excuse. Granted, the buyers did return the item as new and I was able to resell them again almost asap, but what a pain in the arse.

Lately when my iphone makes that "cha-ching" sound that I've sold a BIN, I sort of cringe wondering what I get to expect this time. The ones that pay asap (as I do when I do a BIN) seem to be a rarer breed. It's so frustrating! Why buy something and then just walk away? I don't get it?

Okay, thanks for letting me vent. I guess what I was trying to say is that I concur...lately ebay sucks.

What happened to the normal buyers?

Mark your BIN as immediate payment required. This will stop the issue you are having with non payers

I find this amusing but also very true. I read the exact same sorry excuses here too.

Jan: People are maxed out from christmas, give it time

Feb: Just getting Christmas bills paid off, give it time

March: People are preparing for taxes, spring break also, give it time

Apr: People are getting hit with tax bills, and spring break, give it time

Maymileyfrustrated:ummer it getting ready to hit, kids getting off school, give it time

June: Kids just got out of school, give it time

July: Summer just hit, families not buying right now, give it time

Aug: Dog days of Summer, kids getting ready for school, give it itme

Sept: Kids just went back to school, give it time

Oct: Fall is hitting, everybody thinking about holidays coming up, give it time

Nov: Holidays and winter are here, preparing for christams, give it time

Dec: First 2 weeks hope you sell, after that preparing for christmas, give it time

according to what i hear give it time.

Even though my costs per unit have gone up over the past 4-5 years. I am begging to have to lower the price on many items. Competition at least on eBay does not seem to be the reason and they are not Amazon products. I think lower-middle America and probably Canada/Europe as well. Are just broke trying to cover every day bills.

Nice point - the effect of pushing prices down and the effect of newer products coming out that are 'must haves'

Yes, your last point and stanislav are very well taken. My "used" products are getting higher prices than ever. Bernakie and Carney destroying the western world.

Lol, ebay is dying slowly, amazon on top and there's other websites people can shop on other than feebay. TOO MANY ALTERNATIVE too go to shop. I haven't sold on ebay in 10 years and now I came to realize that it is a good start up far as knowing you niche and market. I did research on one seller recently where last year July he did over 4,000 sells. This year 469...... Yea I will use ebay when needed but I don't like fee getting taken out of my money. Better off getting good profit off your own website.

I actually phoned ebay whether i could revert to the old sytle order page and they said no, they are taking feedback on it from sellers.
I sell to worldwide and it doesnt even show you the country you would have to look it up on seller user id or google it as weirdly enough someone can be in france and ship to another such as brazil.
They said I should subscribe to selling manager which i found even more hopeless. If anyone doesn't have a lot of sales a day then they could mark dispatched and add tracking in paypal as well as print off label from a dymo or similar printer. It would mark it in ebay than trying to use back curser.

sugarlaces - I'm having the same problem, I had to look up an address in Malta today as it didn't state it on the new order details page. It also doesn't display the drop down menu options either, so I have to flick between that page and the order page. Bit of a pain really, I miss the old one.
