Default Ebay closed

Well just after a bit of advice, i opened new account and put on a couple of watches not ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and not expensive and they were bought legitimately from an auction of a closed down local store

i then unexpectedly got this message

"We're happy you've chosen to sell your product(s) on eBay.

In order to provide buyers with a pleasant and safe environment, the Safety Regulation Team at eBay conducts certain routine checks to confirm the information provided by the seller(s) or /and buyer(s). You are kindly requested to send the following documents within the next 72 hours:

- Front and back copy of your ID or passport.
- Copy of a document showing your address (if different from what is displayed on your identity document)

If you are a business user please send us a copy of the certificate of incorporation.

In addition, we ask you to provide a proof of ownership of the items you have posted on eBay. These may consist of:

- Copies of invoices or proof of delivery (pro-forma invoices are not counted as evidence of ownership) OR
- Customs documents, if you have purchased your goods abroad OR
- Availability of supplier confirmations OR
- Receipts for items purchased from a retailer

How can you send the documentation to us?

Please use the below fax number or document upload link:
0044 207 153 0987

https://ocs.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....ame=UKMerchApp

Once you have submitted the documents please allow 72 hrs for our decision. Once we have received and verified the required documents, you will be able to start selling your items and bid on eBay. If we do not receive the required documentation within the deadline, your account will be suspended.

The data and documents you submit will be processed and collected by eBay in accordance with privacy laws, solely for the purposes related to the verification of users, and kept for a period not longer than necessary, as provided by Law 196 / 2003. eBay reserves the right to verify with third parties interested in the information and documents you submit.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Regards,

eBay Trust & Safety team"

You cannot sell expensive, new, branded items on a new account.

Has been discussed for months here.

It doesn't hurt to try, if you want to salvage that account. Chances of it getting reinstated are slim to say the least.

You can try to submit documents, but in parallel, you should also be growing stealths.

And most importantly, follow Sandy's advice and not sell new/expensive items on a new account. This will always fail.

How much were the watches , even $150. Watch although cheap when talking about a price of watches can be too high of a price to start selling an item at on a new account and needs to gradually build

Also your selling in a risky category where there is risks of counterfeits so not a good item to start out with on a new account, the first 90 days is critical

It's a probation period and if your numbers reflect risk they cut you out

And if you provide the documents within the time frame they can restore your account

Not expensive watches

RRP £60 or about 90 USD if you prefer

I started with the crappest 2 to warm the account a little

~I got a fair few all genuine they go up to about £250, and they all genuine from a liquidated local firm

I dont like giving a bank account up but i think computer will now say no, even if i send telegram from queen

I could do the receipt for watches no problem, i could do an address letter but i cannot do photo id and god i have tried lol

So i pay, and i feel thats not going to be worth trying

Not so fast bro ebay as changed over a time frame, got to let accounts age at least a month before listing an items. Do a few bidding or buy it now to gain feedback and establish your credibility on there platform. They like when you spend plain and simple

Probably,

i have a few accounts though although 1 day is the quickest i have listed

I think the main problem though is the actual item sold, it probably raised a flag

i think i will ring tomorrow and explain, shame to waste an account before it starts. Although im pretty sure im wasting my time
